mattyc2422 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Wilkshire is fairly well respected in terms of Australian football. Usually always starts abd tends to take a lot of set pieces.

alexanders Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Hope its Zach Loyd. Versatile defender , can also play def mid. On the brink of the national team (have had 1 game).
cruz Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 should have taken a chance on Wayne Bridge and Matthew Upson. i know, not the greatest, but both brings with them experience of relegation?
Veevs Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 The yank were interested in plays for fc Dallas. Well you didn't make it to hard to find lol.. Zach Lloyd it is then.. hmmm know nothing about him. Looking at his wiki I can't for the life of me work out how he would get a work permit, not a stand out player, not a youth lad with potential.. like I said don't know what sort of player he is but he would not meet any of the work permit conditions. After the Mongugu saga and rumours of us wanting to bring in Indian players I worry we have no one with knowledge of how work permits work.
AJW Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 i'd love the defender to be Rod Fanni - imagine Martin Tyler describing a neat 1 - 2 with our new striker from Dundee Utd on Raul has no-one thought that maybe we are just a pawn being used to engineeer his move to Malaga???
Hughesy Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 The yank were interested in plays for fc Dallas. Spot on mate - you must have a good source, unless your Kean's brother! lol Although Kean did say to me he's an american from Dallas, not that he plays for Dallas....so the other name 'Omar Gonzalez' kind of fits
daveoftherovers Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I belive its Phil Nevilles not Garys. Phils is near burnley! i believe garys ried to turn his into tellytubbies house but got knocked back on planning permission. I might be wrong tho lol I stand corrected was Garys No likey, no lighty Gary's house is Turton (Bolton) way, it's the one with a liverpool scarf under his pool LOL I believe one of the Brothers has paid for it out of their own cash, as their landing pad when they are in the UK It's an impressive joint, he had lots of fights with Architects, contractors, suppliers, the Local Authority Planners and Building Control guys over the years. And yes, another poster pointed to the Tellytubbies planning debacle that he lost on, so he threw Teddy out and sold out, he would have lost money on it, he sunk billy big bucks into it. Sure he's not skint though...
A cup of beans Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Hope its Zach Loyd. Versatile defender , can also play def mid. On the brink of the national team (have had 1 game). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zach_Loyd heard the name carlos bocanegra.. a fair bit today. 400k from st etienne. rangers have shown an interest and been knocked back. but... interesting quotes. "Rangers may want Carlos but we don't want to sell him," Galtier was quoted as saying in the Daily Record. "He's under contract to us so we decide whether or not to sell. "I don't want to sell him. "He's an important member of my team and I want him to stay that way." http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/17082011/58/ligue-1-st-etienne-warn-rangers-bocanegra.html
pick32 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Whats your take on the Raul situation today Mackay11 with him not travelling with Schalke?
Hi Mack Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 theyre set to add falcao too, for 35m.. according to marca! So you are allowed to spend the money that you got when you sell your best players! Thought that you werent allowed.....Do Venkys know?
67splitscreen Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Spot on mate - you must have a good source, unless your Kean's brother! lol Although Kean did say to me he's an american from Dallas, not that he plays for Dallas....so the other name 'Omar Gonzalez' kind of fits Makey seems to know his onions. Loyd is a bit of an all rounder bur it seems his best position is DM, guess we're looking for muti-taskers.
Veevs Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Well this week is turning out as bizarre as ever.. madness to see the latest rafter of names that have never been mentioned before.. players like Sutter, Lloyd, Wilkshire, Wilkinson and Raul.... wth is going on.
Guest ljb Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 jermaine jones and raul BOTH haven't travelled with the schalke squad today to Helsinki, could we be making a double bid
OJRovers Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 9 working days of the transfer window to go. Turning out to be a disaster so far. 2 defenders, 2 midfielders, 2 strikers, 1 third choice keeper MINIMUM still required. Plus offloading EHD and Grella.

A cup of beans Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Has he played over here before? or in Scotland? fulham. whilst kean was there
modes98 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Didn't the Schalke coach try to preempt specualtion by saying that Raul wouldn't be included in the squad now because of the events. Seems strange to me, if he has committed himself to the club then he would be fine to play. Think there's still something in this one, Venky's just need to push the right buttons (which they have failed to do for the last 10 months). Step 4 - Sign them both. Step 5 - Win League. Piece of ######. I've missed you

67splitscreen Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Has he played over here before? or in Scotland? Fulham. 04-08.
LeChuck Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Has he played over here before? Only 124 Premier League games Gav. I'm surprised you don't remember him! He was a good defender and can comfortably play left back and centre back. He's 32 now though. If he's cheap then he might be a good signing as cover.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Well this week is turning out as bizarre as ever.. madness to see the latest rafter of names that have never been mentioned before.. players like Sutter, Lloyd, Wilkshire, Wilkinson and Raul.... wth is going on. I think we've resorted to the 'Y' list
Gav Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Only 124 Premier League games Gav. I'm surprised you don't remember him! I struggle to remember what I had for todays breakfast LeChuck!

A cup of beans Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 If he's cheap then he might be a good signing as cover. fits the bill. cheap defensive cover is what we are after.
67splitscreen Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 RSC, offers from Chumps league (Leeds) Man City will decide where he goes, highest bidder wins then, £2m and a pair of JR's boots for Kun.
