As far as the Dallas boy, I'm thinking it could be Brek Shea. He's had a massive season with Dallas this year and I'd heard some English clubs were interested. At 6'3" he's a giant, and boasts a shocking pace, I mean, really really fast for a player of his size. He can play in the midfield, anywhere on the back line, or even, to a lesser effect, as a striker. He's one of the top scorers in the league this season as a winger, and was just capped against Mexico where he came on as a sub and set up the equalizing goal.

That's my guess based on the fact that it's an FC Dallas player (from Dallas) who hasn't been named yet. Would be a good young signing, loads of talent and physical attributes to boot.

As far as Bocanegra, he'd be good. Right price, good head on him, lacks pace at times but is versatile in that he can play CB or LB. He's also captained the national team for years now. He's basically be another Givet but with loads of international experience.

Looks like Poulsons younger brother lol.. dang seen versitile players before but that kid has played everywhere (Defence, Midfield, Up front, left wing.. just not in goal lol).

Would actually qualify under the young persons with potential rules when it comes to a work permit.. bizzare but interesting signing if he is the one we are looking at.

Still IF everyone is right here a few more youngsters and a 30plus year old defender.. then that really is not what we need at the moment... Experience very much needed.

At least keep your powder dry until the names are credible links fella...

It's pretty obvious he's going to be right.

The only way it'll be excusable is if we make a hell of a signing as our main striker. If not then Venky's have robbed us blind.

Chaddy he moved for over £10 million two years ago and has been scoring goals since, wont get him for £4 million.

He did 2 years ago but never want a success in germany and last season was on loan at PSV. So if we want for him, I reckon we could get him for within our budget for sure.

Wilson looked very classy for Scotland last week when they beat Denmark.

A real ball playing centre half, good in the air and left footed. He'd be a good loanee

Similarly Boyatta, remember him playing for City against Chelsea last year at Eastlands, played very well and helped MCFC keep a clean sheet.

Either/Both would suit me.

This is a great shout. Great potential and would do well for us.

Only just joined the site, followed Rovers for years. I too have looked at all the gossip pages all summer to find we've signed none of the players we've desperately needed. Petrovic and Goodwille are good signings but we've lost 11 players - we need another 6 players before the deadline.

Some interesting developments - Lansbury I feel could do well cause of his creativity and versatility. Does anyone think Josh McEachran could be the yound lad or Jack Cork possibly. Neither are as versatile as Lansbury. I thought Norwich would want Lansbury back after an excellent season last year.

I don't know who the striker could be, Berg i think will cost about 15 million and would he want to come here? Iaquinta is estimated at about 3 million so i'm not certain it's him. Rossi perhaps? Bit too lightweight for me. Im not certain. Im not sure I want a 30 year old defender here permanently unless he will improve the starting 11. Really can't wait for the names to come and hope they are in by the Villa match. Fingers crossed.
