LeChuck Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 This is a great shout. Great potential and would do well for us. Not sure why anyone is getting excited about loaning a young player. When has that worked out for us in the last few years? If we're buying young players with potential then I'll be happy, but potential means nothing if they're only going to be here for 12 months.

Hughesy Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Boyatta on loan with view to sign would be excellent It wont be any spurs players going off the conversation with Kean (when i suggested Krancjar) last night....think thats an avoid for the summer
bringdunnback Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Can we not just wait until tonight, rather than go through the whole Premier League roster? Or, you go away for a bit and come back at the famous 11 o'clock. Plan?
texasrover Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Can we not just wait until tonight, rather than go through the whole Premier League roster? Who cares; it's fun to think about. If you want to wait, then wait. If you want to talk about something else regarding transfers, then bring up something else regarding transfers.
cruz Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 If you want to talk about something else regarding transfers, then bring up something else regarding transfers. We will not sign any players that get mentioned. Discuss
Guest ljb Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 dan_bu dan_bu VfL Wolfsburg sign Thomas Hitzlsperger on a three-year deal.
Mullionvagrant Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Is Lansbury a potential permanent or loan? This one dates back to the big sam days!!! Seems kean hasn't come up with his own target here http://arsenaltransfers.co.uk/2010/08/13/blackburn-contact-arsenal-over-henri-lansbury/

Yes but it could turn out like Wilshire or Sturridge at Bolton, okay those were more established players but maybe it could pay off - youth sometimes gives clubs a lift. Maybe im just trying to see the positives of the deal.
67splitscreen Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Think we can cross off Boyata playing for City ressies tonight against Oldham, Gai Assulin on the bench, remember him?.
1864roverite Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Been away most of the day fishing, still the same old carping of trash on here with potential incomings. BTW, I did catch a stunning carp and as I put him back into the water he whispered to me....... "business as usual at t'Rovers lad"

pick32 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Would much rather have Lansbury than Gibson he would add that extra bit of bite in midfield that we are lacking. No point getting Gibson we already have pedersen for the highlight reel.
Jamesw1982 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Is it actually Lansbury anyway? Didnt you knwo soon as someones name is mentioned on here it means were gonna sign him tomorrow? Oh no wait ......... i forgot this aint football manager
stu07 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Bentley was on loan and did pretty well? Bang on Mark, when a lad has something to prove and gets a chance then it can only be good. If it comes off mind.
BiggusLaddus Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I hope people are not taking my word for it; clue to my level of 'insider knowledge' was the wild stab bit.

scunnyrover Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Anyone heard of humberto suazo? He seems to have banged goals in at every club he's been at. Maybe he could do a job for us. He's Chilean aswell so would boost venkys profile in south America. Not sure how much he would cost tho and he was at loan at real zaragoza last year
47er Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Moses and Sturridge--2 deals we shouldhave been all over. Poor management by all.
yankrover Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Looks like Poulsons younger brother lol.. dang seen versitile players before but that kid has played everywhere (Defence, Midfield, Up front, left wing.. just not in goal lol). Would actually qualify under the young persons with potential rules when it comes to a work permit.. bizzare but interesting signing if he is the one we are looking at. Still IF everyone is right here a few more youngsters and a 30plus year old defender.. then that really is not what we need at the moment... Experience very much needed. Brek would be an excellent pickup, but I don't think he'd help much this season. Still, we should sign him up if possible. It looks like Klinsmann is going to play him more with that national team, and his value is only going to go up. And everyone knows Americans are the world's best athletes.
