Seems to me Kean is telling fans all sorts of names.

I know of three completely different names, two defenders and one midfielder plus a striker (he wouldn't name the striker) that he gave someone else.

Onuoha was one of the defenders.

Kean will have a number of targets though Aggy won't he?

JAL. Who would you be happy about?

Nothing is certain that a player would be good for us whether he comes from the Premiership or Portugal / La Liga, is 30 years old or 22 years old.

The only thing I tend to look at is attributes and personally I think Steve Kean has found the right man to adapt to EPL through Vukcevic and Petrovic, but then again I thought Kalinic would be a good striker and he turned out to be a flop. Therefore I am much more satisfied with £2m on Vukcevic then splashing the cash on some other unproven player. Normally our bargains turn out the best!

I think Vukcevic could be a real bargain and turn out well for us this year. Even though there are som e minor concerns about his attitude (as usual with the balkan boys).

For Petrovic ; I think its important that the guy already knows english. He is a tough tackling midfielder who has proven also in Europa and national team that he can hack it. Kalinic hadn't and therefore was more of a gamble.

I think both these IC players would represent good business. At least we can hope they will turn out to be like Vidic and Ivanovic.

He's been giving lots of names to lots of different people !! He probably thinks it's a grand plan executed with smoke and mirrors !!

Looking at the number of times over the last 24 hours that Hughesy has said "Kean confirmed to me last night", I think the poor lad has got a bit 'star-struck' (perhaps he was one of those in the Whalley 'Hotel' posing for piccies with Kean!).

We know from Monday that Kean's recollection of facts doesn't seem flawless !!

Is there any confirmation that we are in for lansbury (arsenal) or is it just speculation? I saw him play afew times for Norwich last season and he looked class. Very versatile aswell. Would it be a loan or a buy?

happy that we are moving for targets but will obviously pleased when they are signed, sealed and delivered. Sounds like Vukcevic is highly rated and an absolute bargain if only EUR 2m. Wonder why nobody else is in for him at a higher price? Must admit I don't know him or the other names so can't admit to any being a signing I would be excited about like Kammy said, but am just pleased we are at least addressing the situation(and unless they play here I rarely know them anyway in all honesty). Now get them signed up and into the squad please Rovers.

You are a complete fool JAL. Who do you want? Beckham? Ronaldo? 34 year old has beens?

Look at our signings, if we get Vukcevic (an absolutely QUALITY player) that will make it David Goodwillie (young, full of potential, fans favourite at his previous club), Petrovic (young, full of potential, fans favourite at his previous club) and Simon Vukcevic (young, full of potential, fans favourite at his previous club). Add to that Formica and Rochina who are like two new signings after spending last season preparing for this one and I think it's a good start and it's all being done in the right way. Your problem is you see us being linked with top expensive players then moan when it doesn't happen even though Venky's never even mention the players in question...it's shoddy journalism and they get blamed.

Luckily most fans aren't as clueless as you and can see we are signing some good young players full of potential.

Check out this vid of Ibisevic. IF he has the same hunger to finish off his runs and create attacks he will come good. Looks like he has a good attitude.

Cheers for that Den ha ha! I just felt it was harsh giving him negatives for his own opinion on signings - which we're all entitled to.

We look loaded with AM's (second strikers) at the moment, but such players as Vukcevic can play LW, RW, Second striker, in the hole etc

I agree with JAL a bit.

these £2-3 million signings all seem like gambles to me, I question why they are so cheap, I'm going to need to see them in action before I can get excited after all our main English rival for Goodwillie was BLACKPOOL.

I'll have to hope that 2 million in other countries is equal to getting playes for 5-7 million in this country.

Wold love some players that have proven themselves in Spain, Italy or England.

At this stage, we are so short of players, I am at the point that I almost don't care who we sign so long as we actually get them on board.

I suspect trying to get a bunch of players with zero PL/English football experience playing together will involve an element of pot luck given SK's well known inadequacies but at least let's get bodies chucked into the pot.

If Kamy is right that it took the Wolves defeat to get Venky's to wake up to how thin the squad is, they are not so much behind the curve as been hiding behind the beech ball.

Fair play to him if he's playing games, aslong as we sign top players under the radar I couldnt give a monkeys about it.
