It says so in the podcast , might be honda I'm sure someone said he was flying out to have a medical on Friday and with samba strangely following nzogbia on twitter it he could be the other . Not certain though by any stretch of the imagination

N'Zogbia is in Dubai. He flew out the same day Rovers went to Hong Kong so I think that rules him out.

who are these Ripley???

I'd love to know myself chaddy, just trying to put things together of what I've heard on these forums from so called credible sources

He's with his mate in Dubai, I don't know who he flew out with.

3 prem clubs interested , villa , everton and ?????

Pavone and Benjani is what i've heard, both expected to fly to hong kong tomorrow.

Well that'll be a start

Ok with them both decent squad players but we still need a goalscorer, midfielder and defender who can play anywhere at the back.

are we going to announce these deals tomorrow???

let's keep the faith and support the team!!!

We should take a closer look at Hernan Perez of Paraguay. Pacey, technique and place for Villareal B. Only 22 years old.

Nelson Haedo Valdez looks dangerous the times he get the chance.

Haven't we been linked with him before?

We are increasingly lightweight up front so these two would be welcome additions as back up but yes we need a top striker ie Defoe or cisse type , def mid petrovic would be perfect from what I've seen and I'd like onuoha at the back can play anywhere across the back, maybe Honda as a marquee player would be fantastic

so we are signing more dross, a player who is already at the club, who couldnt hit a cow's backside with a banjo and a guy, pavone, whos goalscoring record makes roberts look like a world class finisher. OH THE JOY! cant wait for the new season now.

With the way we are so keen to secure Benjani for another year, and seemingly have nothing to show we can actually sign a quality player, I have never been this unenthusiastic throughout my time as a Rovers fan. Renewed my season ticket but I am worried for us..

Latin American football expert Tim Vickery thinks he's decent but I'm sure you wont let that get in the way of you trying to spread more misery.

How the apathy is spreading. Just after 11.00 and only 40 using this thread instead of the usual 200+. A very sad sign of the times.

Maybe people have seen that you are posting.

im really disappointed we havent signed jermaine jones ..he was brilliant on loan for us - we will definatly miss his presence in central midfield

Shalke were said to be looking for 11 mil euros, quite a hefty lump.

Its very hard to be optimistic at the moment and players like JJ seem a million miles away, I come onto this thread half hoping something good will come but in all honesty I dont think we are going to have anything to be exited about this summer.

People within the club are calling for patience and my patience is what they will get, but I have to say I have little faith in our owners, they have'nt even secured a loan deal or got Hoilett signed up to a new contract, so forgive me if my optimism is on its last legs.

We are four players down from our squad last year and could be more if press rumours are to be believed so that would leave at least 4 or five players to be signed in two weeks who can hit the prem ground running.

Some people are going to be really sad when reality hits them in the face. The change of advisors, the change of agents, does that not seem like Venky's are struggling to bring players in, venky's to me are struggling to glam the club up, I would imagine it's not the easiest thing to get quality players to come to Rovers but when you dismiss all the people in the know it's never going to be easy.

The last game of the season at Wolves - i was very optimistic for the 2011/2012 season. The first 45 minutes were the best i have seen for a few years. We ripped Wolves apart with experience, youth, pace and power. The way Kean wanted to play was finally coming through the players and we had the nucleus of a very good team: Robinson, Samba, Olsson, Hoillet, Jones, N'Zonzi and so on.

A month after the season ends we are linked with some quality signings and i am thinking with a few extra additions we really could challenge a top 8 spot in the League.

I also start working at BRFC and everything seems rosey - we are going to be marketing on a global scale across Asia, plenty of money to spend, Paul Hunt joins to steer the ship, new head of youth development and the club feels good.

I just finished at BRFC (won't tell you in what capacity) but the place has a weird vibe around it at the moment.

Pavone is not a bad player - i would welcome him to the squad (not a starter)

Hopefully Venky's will suprise us but i was fed some very good information during my time there and i was to believe all would come good (read my past posts) but that has now gone.
