In all fairness, would the trust have seen through the blatent lies Venkys told them when purchasing the club?

Surley it was Rothschild who should of seen though their 'lies'. The trust wanted to sell us for ages, they got Rothschild in to find a buyer.

Rothschild obviously Venkys were suitable, so therefore the blame lies with both the Trust and Rothschild.

If he's similar or worse than Pavone, I don't want either of them.

I don't understand where all our goals are going to come from????

I'm thinking he's best suited to the left wing. He's played against us out wide a few times and caused us problems. Would be happy to see him come in as a midfielder but not as a main striker. Definitely not.

The fans are to blame too. Unreasonable expectations (generally based on the Walker years), and getting emotionally attached to a business. It's a football club. If it go t!ts up my life won't change.

We'd actually be OK if we bought a striker who could score a few, but they cost money that we don't seem to have. Being linked with players like McFadden, who's top league quality was fleeting whilst at Everton, doesn't look like there is money available. I'm happy to be proven wrong though.

It's not just a business to the fans, but if I remember rightly you'd rather England did well than Rovers, so I don't think you are the norm.

cetainly not, I really would much rather Blackburn do well then England, although I would want England to do aswell if 2 or 3 players started for England.

Well lucky for you if things going tits up wouldnt change your life but it would for thousands of others who actually care and live for the club...such a disgraceful attitude to have, cant believe i just read that from a supposed "fan"...joke!

I am emotionally attached to this club, but what i cant get my head around is the Venkys mob. Venkys bought us with their own money, obviously to try and help us achieve. They dont want this bussiness to fail and it hasnt...yet. I do believe they do mean the best for the club but are now starting to realise what it is like to own a football club and before anyone starts saying "they should of known what they were getting into before they bought us" surley that is Rothschilds responsibillity to tell potential owners what is it like etc. If i remember rightly the trust use to come out with the excuse that they havent sold us yet because Rothschild are doing major background checks on every potential buyer, and they want to find the best owners possible for the club.

So how is is not the Trust and Rothschilds fault?

Did they find the best possible owners for us? At the moment it is looking like no.

Did they do major background checks on potential buyers? IF we have no money then obviously not.

SO everyone having a go at Venkys saying spend some money better communication etc, you have got to remember that these are the besr possible owners for us who have a had major background checks so there wont be any issues.

End of the day Venkys bought us with their own money - I want to thank them for choosing to invest in Blackburn Rovers

We got sold to Venkys by the oh so great Trust and they were advised by the fountain of all knowledge Rothschild.

If this all ends in disaster and we buy no one, have £0 money avalible and get relegated, i for one will not be blaming Venkys. I will be venting my anger at the Trust and Rothschild.

Chris, he was replying to me.

I don't view it like that. I've been a Rovers supporter for 25+ years. I'll never stop supporting them. However, I don't see the point in caring about a "game" that is being used as rich man's plaything, populated by hosts of unsavoury characters, and played by spoiled millionaires. Having said all that though, I do enjoy watching football, and have done my whole life.

Anyway, back to transfers; Honda would be great.

Completly disagree with every bit of that...its easy to pull the wool over peoples eyes, these guys have the funds they just dont wanna spend it so how was it for the trust to know they wouldnt once they were in charge nothing they could do then!

Venkys are sneaky liars that would sell sand in the sahara!!

Looks like it.

Easy to pull the wool over peoples eyes? Surley the trust employed Rothschild to find a buyer and to make sure any buyer wouldnt pull the wool over their eyes?

Rothschild obviously didnt dig deep enough, or do enough investigating.

I see what your saying but didnt Venkys say they would be investing some of their own money? You cant investigate weather they intended to or not, im sure they produced the relevent documents and healthy bank balance and convinced Rothschild they fully intended to invest,,,when they pull a U-turn which now seems to be the case its too late!

I think that the Trust wanted rid of us asap, so didnt really dig deep into finding what Venkys are about. They probably did produce all the relevant documents bank balance etc.. but a company like Rothschild should have someone employed in making sure companies like Venkys are here to make some quick money. Rothschild would of had numerous conversations with Venkys so how did Rothschild not see that Venkys dont have a clue about football and how its run, surley anyone can see that is a recipe for disaster?

Vagner Love.

That would be a fantastic thing, I've no idea if he's any good, not a clue. But at least we could annoy United and steal their song "Love will tear you apart, again".

Meanwhile, back in the real world. Does Steve Wood have a son?

IMO?

It's really a fairly stupid comment. It is unlikely that he will sign as we have no evidence that there is any serious interest on our part, but I suppose it makes everyone look more like an 'insider'.

My sources have informed me that we won't be signing Messi, Ronaldo, Pele or, rather sadly, me. I can trust my sources and I'm sure that they will be right.

Really disappointed about Pele, that would have looked great on the shirt.
