I know he's a cockney plank etc... But Jimmy Bullard scores and creates goals, no-one in our team looks like doing this and its a fact! Give him a contract until January and if he breaks a leg or misbehaves he can easily be paid up or gone in January. Proven PL player... Look at his stats and you cant argue. For free he's worth the risk whether or not you like it.

Get onouha in for cb/rb to shore us up because our back line needs a serious injection of pace, right now its on par with Mrs Doubtfire... for speed.

Bring in Pappis Cisse or Ibsevic and another striker on loan like Macheda.

Bring in Boyata on loan as a back up if this Givet saga rumbles on.

Bring in Vukcevik for that LW because if i see pedersen there again smilling and doing jack ###### then il blow a fuse...

Not much money spent there when Venkys said the was a war chest this summer...

Anybody get the feeling, that this straight cash deal for Samba sounds dodgy? If we could get a player like Bassong plus cash or another player, then that surely makes more sense. Why want just the cash, then struggle to find a replacement, or worst yet, don't spend that money.

If the owners don't want to invest, or invest in Kean then employ Mark Hughes and they wouldn't have to spend another penny. The best signing we could possibly make.

Would he come back... Err.

Id say to Everton Yakubu and Yobo 5million two PL proven players for cheap.

The Yak knows where the net is and Yobo is solid and is one of two cb's sorted.

Especially seen as hertha Berlin allegedly inserted a clause when they sold him to us.

the reason he left was because we had no money!

What we need this week:

  • A defender signed no later than Wednesday so he has a few days training with squad for Saturday, would be even better if he could sign on monday and play wednesday!
  • A striker signed asap so he could maybe get a few goals on wednesday for confidence!
  • To give Ribeiro a game on wednesday as Salgado once again had a bad game at the weekend. Althought its not good to change your back four i think this would be the ideal game.
  • Samba or Givet to be fit by weekend because Hanley just isnt good enough.
  • For all fans to get behind the team and stop trying to blame everything on Venkys. Lets face it they dont want us to do bad otherwise they wouldnt have bought us.

We cannot just lose so many player and bring in a few and expect us to start winning straight away. This is going to take a few games to settle everyone in. Formica and Rochina had 6months to settle in and look like really good players. They are like two new signings as they didnt have much match time last season.

Come on Kean and Venkys i will back you all the way prove all the pundits and pessimistic fans wrong. COYB

Does anyone think Rickie Lambert could step up a level?

I would say Mckail-Smith would have been a better shot.

Then where is the money that was promised, venky's and that clueless idiot Kean have done nothing but lie since taking charge,i agree with all the points you make bar defending venky's and Kean, however i fear we are stuck with both till atleast the end of the season,i'd take a final position of 17th place right now.

^ so what!

Max Gradel looking very good on SS1 at the minute plus he scored 18 last season from a wide position.

Apart from his penalty miss.

Was just going to mention Gradel, him and Hoilett on each wing would cause a lot of trouble for opponents. If not him then Snodgrass who is a fantastic footballer in my opinion.

ye i know they arent spending money but would we have signed any of these players with the Trust. Ok we sold Jones but we would have been able to buy goodwillie or petrovic. Also we wouldnt have signed Formica as he also cost quite abit.

We would have sold jones just to cover costs. I know they arent investing loads of money but i dont want to do a pompy. If we do it slowly then its better for the club. If 1% of india end up supporting Rovers and that 1% buys a rovers shirt then that alone will earn the club aroudn 50m. Remember india has 1.2billion people in it that it a big market.

Ok alot of them support the big team we just need to get our name out there and people with change. It takes time thats all and i would like to do a city but i would always be worried where the money is coming from and the new Uefa rules means its hard to do that now.

Dont need any more tricky wingers. Certainly none from the championship.

We need centre backs, a striker and another centre midfielder before we start thinking about anywhere else. Got the feeling a new manager wouldnt be a bad move either.

We need players who are playing now, fit, young and ready to hit the ground running.

I really like the look of Gradel - he beats his man with ease, great feet and pace; plus only 23.

I am a firm beliver there are some very good players to be had from the Championship - obviously they have to be mixed with senior players who have Premiership experience.

I believe we need 2 full backs, Ollson is a left winger playing left back and Salgado isn't good enough.

The summer has been a total failure, when we deserved and expected much better.

Venkys have let the fans down.

Couldn't agree more. For all the big talk and promises that they had whenever they bought the club, the owners have failed to deliver. Signing players like Formica, Rochina, Petrovic and Goodwillie (who will be good players in the future) and expecting them to keep us in the league is negligent, irresponsible and further proves that they owners have little idea about football.

Why are we trying to sign a striker who is injured for another month ?

He is a very good goalscorer and believe that he would be a better option than Roberts. When fit. I would be a lot happier about him signing if we got another one in as well though. We've left the signing of players so late, that any players that we do sign will all be coming in and settle at the same time, which will take time, when players should have been signed throughout the summer allowing for a great period of transition.

Looking at how Norwich have started I think they have a chance of staying up. They look hungary we look like we are feeling sorry for ourselves. I would defo look to get Cisse in, i think the owner would be better served funding him than Raul. Test the waters bid 9 million with 3.5 million in add ons if he scores 30 goals, lets face it he would be worth it if he gets that ammount in 2 seasons etc.

You're guaranteed at least one promoted side will carry their momentum into the PL, but sooner or later their lack of quality will tell. We have the experience and a decent crop of youngsters, just need someone who can mould them into a side.

We wont get anywhere near that amount of support in India (or anywhere else outside UK for that matter). In HK Rovers fans were outnumbered by 'Chelsea' fans by at least 100 to 1 - probably more, and this is in a country which really likes its football. India don't really care that much, and those that do will go towards the teams that win things. It's an easy thing to say numbers like 1% of the populatio = £XX but in reality that doesn't really work.

Do we even sell 12,000 shirts in the UK, I bet we don't.
