Point is, that he had his medical and signed on the same day. It has nothing to do, with how many clubs he has been linked with etc. We have players on 2 day medicals, and surely keep your visa on you or something.

I still think Souness could do a job here

Never liked him when he was in charge, lost a few good players because of him but would prefer him to Kean as he would get alot more respect. I think the likes of Hughes and Alladyce must be looking at Kean and thinking what the hell has he done to all the work we put in there. Never thought i'd say this but if we went out on wednesday and get outplayed maybe it would be a good thing cause then hopefully Venkys would take notice and sack him.

The venkys themselves are far from convinced now following his court trial etc and they believe if they are to sign the marquee players they so desperate to sign, kean is affecting that.

IF they get rid of Kean - it will be another compensation payout, which all adds up when you consider Sam, Williams and so on.

Are Venky's actually as business savvy as they think? Or have they been lucky by inheriting an already successful business in one of the fastest growing economies in the world?

So far i am not convinced by anything they have done.

Kean will be given Sheffield Wednesday and Everton before i start shouting for him out.

Michael Bradley (MF) must be available seeing as he has fallen out of favor for his german side, might be able to get him for cheap as the window closes, and he could be good for us as a defensive mid. Not sure why he never caught on at villa as he tends to be Jermaine Jones' equal with the US team. (that said we have not been linked, just speculating that he might be able to come at a discount.)

Kean is a big problem, but getting players in is, at the minute, a bigger one. We can change a manager whenever we like, we only have a small amount of time to get players in. I think everyone is in more or less the same boat with Kean, he isn't the man for the job, but right now we must concentrate on getting players through the door while we can.

I know it's all a matter of opinion but Souness was a great manager. He got us promoted, won us a cup and our first season back in the prem we played outstanding football! When Uncle Jack died i remember him coming out to the Blackburn End fans an hour after the game, told us to stop singing his name because that day was about Jack. He said some very heart felt words about him and our club, clapped us and shook our hands... Proper footballing bloke. Yes, he sold Dunn... But bought Tugay! Yes, he left for Newcastle (thank god he did else...) but all things considered he's a Blackburn Rovers legend. I for one would take him back in a heartbeat.

Back to transfers... Not that Messi could make a difference with this idiot in charge.

I don't believe he is a puppet aside from Miles Anderson and any future marquee signings. I also think they would have been done under any other manager, under the circumstances of the time.

If any manager did that to Mrs D it would appear their future wouldn't be too secure. Allardyce didn't last long.
