Anyone calling for Tugay as manager for the future would be good but first if he were to come in it should always be as a no.2 if he was a no.2 to learn from someone like Souey,MON,Laudrup someone experienced that would be ideal for him but to throw him straight in as a no.1 in such a pressure position would be unfair also as a no.2 it would give him enough time to do his badges before taking the reins full time.

I just had the pleasure of rewatching the Villa game. Whilst it was painful, we will look a different team when Samba and Givet are back. Nelsen is done and should be backup at best, too slow for the premier league. Hanley is not good enough. Salgado turns slower than a ten-wheeler, and is being exposed every week.

I would like to see "Big John" come in and Onohua come.

Midfield remains the worst midfield in the league imo. Although I was reasonably impressed with Petrovic. N'Zonzi is meh. MGP is garbage, Dunn could be useful off the bench but should never be played 90 mins in a central midfielder role. Formica looks a real player and should be starting every game.

I would like Lansbury and Vuckevic

Can't judge Goodknob yet, although I reckon he'll get a few goals this season, may need to get use to being a sub though. Rochina needs a go.

I would like 2 new strikers please- Ibisevic looks like a goer and maybe a loan.

Onohua-Samba-John-Givet

Petrovic

Hoilett-Formica-Vuckevic-Olsson

Ibisevic

Strong side

That side doesnt look to have any strength or structure.

Samba, John and Petrovic are all 6'3 Plus, so strength through the middle.

Pace out wide with Hoilett and Olsson, also with Onouha on the right.

Creativity from Formica and Vuckevic.

Can I ask what the hell you mean?

It hit me this morning that Roberts is still our main striker, are we are closer to bringing in a proven goalscorer? If not we are regelation certs, JR will not score more than 5 in the league.

Just hit you?

Its been the case for 2 seasons now. Time that issue was addressed.

At the end of every season I have thought surely we won't be starting up with Roberts next season, I think its just dawned on me that there are only 5 working days left of the transfer window for us to bring someone in and avoid having to watch JR huff and puff upfront for no goals!

On Talksport they are raving about Phil Jones. He is quality and we are missing him, does anyone think he will get in the England squad for the september qualifiers?

Might be a bit early for competitive games. Mind you, can't think of that many ahead of him.

I'd definitely start Chris Smalling at right back if I was Capello though. He's miles better than anyone else we have out there, he looks like a revelation in that position.

How this guy continues to start up front for a Premiership team is beyond me. He's always done well as an impact sub, but he doesn't have the footballing ability to start week in and week out and get you the goals stay up. It's no coincidence that we've been so lacking in goals and Jason Roberts has been up playing regularly up front.

I go England reguarly and was in South Africa last year. Right back has been a problem since Neville lost his legs after 06. I think Richards is quality but I don't rate Johnson and Walker has got to improve further. Smalling is a good player and I think we should see Richrads, Jones and Smalling in the side.

I actually thought in the euro u21 tournament our best players were Smalling and Jones - the rest were garbage, Henderson in worth no more than 5 million. Decent but I dont think he will be a regular he will be an England fringe player.

I mentioned how well Jones played in here last night and I got lynched for it.

Did you expect anything else in these horrid times for our club? Seeing him in the worst kit in the world getting raved about from pundits who never cared about him when he was at Rovers made me furious and sad.

Just goes to show how Kean has left our squad depleated. :(

When Hughes left he left the club in great hands and anyone coming in would have been over the moon at what he had before him. After big Sam left he had the club playing in a way that would keep us in the Premiership, yes i didn't like the style of football but it was effective and now we have been left with Steve Kean who let's face it is not a manager, yes he maybe a good first team coach but he is so out of his depth as a top flight manager and no big names will take a look at coming to our club whilst it's in this state. :(
