Neal Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Let's me guess.... He will cost 2-3 million pounds.

A cup of beans Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 If you got a fit bullard on a lowish wage then it can't do any harm to the squad. Good footballer when fit. dont be seduced by his wigan or fulham form or his clowning around on soccer am! WHEN FIT... IF FIT! we already have grella and dunn! just look at the money wasted on crowd favourite 'reidy!' 'bully' (original nickname!) not played consistantly or consistantly well since his fulham days. waste of time and money.. no matter how small the fee or wages! old pals act..
T4E Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 The problem is that statement describes Bullard well. I wont repeat the alleged reasons as to why he was sacked but we don't need his type anywhere near the club. I noticed an anti-Bullard post from you previously - hit me up with a PM if you can, I'm intrigued.
EgyptianPete Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Wait wait wait, hold the phone. A winger, isolate a fullback? The heck you say?! This is major news, I didn't think wingers could do that. I can't believe Kean broke this story, that could have been our secret weapon. Now, every team will know that wingers can isolate fullbacks. In unrelated news,I heard the internet is on computers now. Damndest thing.  Well done a bit of humour to brighten the day
dubdubdub Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 And this is what makes Kean a terrible manager - way to tell everyone how to defend against him. Sky Sports Read the bit where he says if he can isolate a full back, all they will do now is double up on him and we dont have the quality to make the numbers and space count. He has to go i'm afraid. Apparently we're after an Angolan according to this: Anyone heard of Da Costa? Da Costa Haven't read it but so what if they double up. Leaves spaces elsewhere. Masterplan.
Eddie Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Interesting. If we bring in Ibisevic and another striker then things would really look good. Quite possible that it is just an alternative, but will be interesting to see.
Nelsta Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 So has a fee been agreed and it's a matter of just seeing if the player wants to come or is it a free agent?
True Blue & White Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Haven't read it but so what if they double up. Leaves spaces elsewhere. Masterplan. Yeah but when that space is being left for Jason Roberts to 'exploit' the well....
braddock Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Yeah but when that space is being left for Jason Roberts to 'exploit' the well.... It's better than Roberts not having the space.
True Blue & White Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 It's better than Roberts not having the space. Is it? I would say the two are equally pointless events...
braddock Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Is it? I would say the two are equally pointless events... Well you would.
stu07 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Is it? I would say the two are equally pointless events... The reason he loves Kean is cause he gave him a chance and a contract as Sam wanted rid of him. He works hard but he can't finish, remember last day of the season when he could have scored to make it 4 nil - one on one with Hennessey and an easy save - Wolves should be in Championship.

TBF Wolves stayed up on points, not GD. They would have stayed up even if we'd beat them 10-0
BPF Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 If this striker really is unnamed like the LT says, it'll be a cheap shirt printing option. My hat is tipped to you, good Sir.
stu07 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 TBF Wolves stayed up on points, not GD. They would have stayed up even if we'd beat them 10-0 Thwy did but remember Spurs and Brum were drawing and after Wolves pulled it back to 3-2 Brum had to throw everyone forward - they caught at the back as a consequence. They were looking comfortable up until then. If you remember Wolves were chanting 1 more goal, once they got that they shut up shop with 2 minutes to go. I know its if's and maybes but I couldn't see Wolves scoring 3 goals that day especially if they'd gone 4 down.
chickendippers123 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Cryer says his surname DOES NOT begin with M. That rules out Maiga. He has also said its a new target and Kean is not flying to Germany. Does Da Costa play in Germany? I hope he does as he sounds rubbish! JAL Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 This Angolan Mateus Da Costa is just plain crap lets hope it aint him.
braddock Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 This Angolan Mateus Da Costa is just plain crap lets hope it aint him. Surprise surprise!
Nelsta Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Got a feeling it's a freebie and it's Trezeguet.
chickendippers123 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Geln9Mullan thinks a young argetine player in Spain. Any ideas?
BigBar Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Geln9Mullan thinks a young argetine player in Spain. Any ideas? Could be some lad called Messa or Messi?? Think i heard of him before...
Emge Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Geln9Mullan thinks a young argetine player in Spain. Any ideas? Another youngster? Common! We need a real goalscorer, 15 goals a season! 25 years old minimum!
Hughesy Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 All the bullshit aside, Jimmy Bullard is an excellent footballer. Free, short term contract on low wages make that one a no brainer. Low wages??? We talking about the same player?? The problem is that statement describes Bullard well. I wont repeat the alleged reasons as to why he was sacked but we don't need his type anywhere near the club. Exactly - crock & n0bhead - no thanks
