BomBom Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Nugget off to see a man about a striker, Could Possibly be Ruben, Maiga or even Ya Konan. Matavuz seems to have gone cold though.
Guest ljb Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 the player is marco ruben ,kean flying out tonight to speak terms and try and sell the move to him, fee allready agreed, of al the people to go speak to him kean , might as well end interest now
AmazinTim Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Since we are guessing Argentina Strikers in Spain, Ariel Nahuelpan? Leonardo Ulloa?
stu07 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Either Trezeguet or Marco Ruben. Didn't Ruben almost go to Wigan last year but Villareal couldn't agree a fee with them. He's decent from what i've seen, this was a few years ago but I cant see him getting us 15 goals a season. I was really hoping for Cisse.
BigBar Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 We need a some firepower so badly, Pavlyuchenko, Carlton Cole, Sturridge, Santa Cruz, Bellamy, Bendtner, Cisse, Trezeguet, Crouch...not sayin all these are my no.1 choices but there achivable and alot better than what we have and surely some are within our ###### budget and others could be loaned! Time is ticking and its time to nail down a decent striker!!

paullarrygher Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Definitely don't want Bullard near BRFC. Not sure what he is supposed to have done on the club tour that got him the sack (if anyone fancies enlightening me then feel free to PM me) but my brother has first hand experience of Bullard losing it. I know people aren't keen on the "Oh I've got an inside story but I can't tell anyone" stuff so I'll give you just a jist. But during a period when Bullard was available to play for Hull and 2 days before a match day, he was prancing about a club in Manchester where my brother and a few of his mates were. Bullard invited them up to the VIP area and was buying bottle after bottle of champagne. He then invited one of my brother's mates outside and told him to bring the empty bottles and glasses. He then had my brother's mate pass him the bottles as he threw them at force against a brick wall. All the while he was screaming and looked extremely distressed. Needless to say my brother and his mates got out of there as quick as they could! I don't think this guy needs to find a new club. I think he needs to find a psychiatrist first.

Kean needs to get someone who will score goals. Grabbi got goals in the second tier in Italy and look what a waste of money that guy was.

Mercer Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Wouldn't touch Bullard with the proverbial sh1tty stick for the reasons given already on this thread. Do worry about the striker if Ruben. Any foreign player coming in needs time to settle - even a player of Salgado's pedigree took time as did Dzeko at City. In our position, we need experienced players who know the English game and can hit the ground running.
chickendippers123 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 For goodness sake. I am sick of getting our hopes up just for them to be crushed at the sound of us signing a striker who would not be able to cut it in the EPL. We need and always have since Santa Cruz left, an out and out goal scorer. If they want 12.5m for Cisse pay it. Much cheaper than the 50mill plus we will lose when we are relegated.

est990 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 reluctantnicko Alan Nixon Something to the Emerton and Sydney thing. Very odd. Why would he go there? Syndey fancy their chances. Strange. someone mentioned this the other day didnt they?
Speedie Dived Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 If Kean brings back 200 fags, a Sombrero and Raul it will have been a worthwhile trip abroad. I know he is not the best with dates but he does know we have a game tomorrow? Maybe it's the best approach for all and send him away when we have a game, keep him out of the way

Thus proving they havnt got the balls to do what's right!
Inta Beaver Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I've never wished for this before when I'm blowing out my birthday candles.............i want a plane crash! I know a bit harsh!
braddock Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Or as someone mentioned on twitter, is he being kept away tomorrow because they know of a protest? Thus proving they havnt got the balls to do what's right! Hahahahahahahhahaha, there's going to be a protest?
Speedie Dived Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 That's counter productive as the protest would gather more momentum for Saturday then. Drunk, stumbling through customs with Raul and fags, that's my bet :-)
Nelsta Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Hahahahahahahhahaha, there's going to be a protest? Well i say protest, more like

rogerjonesgloves Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 to be fair he never was gonna get a chance with Rossi and Nilmar there. Yeah but we want a proven PL scorer of 30 goals a season for three and fourpence. £SD that is.
