Hear a rumour that we are interested in loaning Gael Kakuta.

Also heard a striker we are interested in is Adrian Ramos. Heard if we go in for onouha it will be permanent and 4 million will be the fee.

I dont know if these are true.

Skysports.com understands Jimmy Bullard is set to have a medical at Ipswich as he nears a return to Portman Road.

If we were moving forward and bringing in better players I would be pleased to see Emo go as he has never really been outstanding. As we are going in the opposite direction however I am not so pleased because he probably adds more than any of the players we have signed or are supposed to be signing. We will miss his experience and his versatility for sure.

Quite interesting this, especially as the mail has it too, but unless two of my sources have it totally wrong, this is not the player we are after. Was given a totally different name than him today

We are lacking Premier League experience in the side, with Emerton possibly going we are now desperately short of experienced players, we seem to have adopted a policy of buying players with very little or no Premier League experience, that is a huge risk, today's result just papers over the cracks. No way will we get that much space in the Premier League.

We NEED to sign a couple of players with Premier League experience but it doesn't look like we are going down that route.

Keith Andrews has premier league experience. But he's not a good football player. What we need are good football players (and a better manager).

You have hit the nail on the head mate experience is key and we need lots of it,

On the EL H link by the papers, They sem pretty certain its him, but I am told NO, its someone else,

They are either putting 2 n 2 together with steve keans quote that a player he was chasing had limited Prem experience, or of course they are right,

Or they are wide of the mark, My source of info on this is very very rarely wrong, so for now I won't name the other player, but be interesting tomorrow when I ask the question if indeed its the player the papers say it is

I do agree with you Kamy, but players with PL experience tend to cost abit more than they are worth.

Hughes had good success with buying players with no experience like Benni, RSC, Samba, Nelsen, Ooijer. But Hughes could also get good players with a liitle experience of PL like Bentley and Warnock.

Just have to hope that these deals work out for us.:D

Kean "It is slow and then all of a sudden a momentum builds up because you need to get the bodies in."

*Grumble* he has stated all summer we needed a striker and a defender and now we desperately need to get them in.. did he forget about the first few games of the season and time to settle etc..

As for whoever posted it's worth waiting a couple of weeks no.. Ibesivic is out until mid October plus time to get fit again so that's not just a couple of weeks. And hell if it took 2 days for Vuki's medical how long will it take for Ibesivic.

As for Emerton.. hmm.. was an automatic starter just a week and a half ago with a threadbare bench (and only 3 players injured).. sure we have landed 2 targets but has always been a versatile backup.. don't see the logic.

Still panic looking at our squad.. hoping for 2-3 players (at least one with experience) beyond the striker and defender we are apparently close to signing. If we don't get them I reckon we will be relegated.

How would you compare "your guy" to EL H then? Better option?

The problem is we're almost 3 games into the Premier League season with not even half our business done. All the players we are chasing are new to the Premier League so it could take them weeks or months to settle in. Teams like Sunderland, Stoke and even Q.P.R are signing players proven in the league. We need one or two who can slot straight in the side with experience.

Spot on Kamy.. as ever.

Been ranting about the same for a while..... People say they cost, but hell not all of them do, as an example I would rather us spent a little more on Yobo or Cuellar than on a complete unknown quantity from America.

Boy I hope we get a couple of decent loan signings to at least add experience.. :(
