Can't understand why Kean is getting extra grief after this game. Could only watch it on MOTD but we created chances, peppered the woodwork and the players conspired to their own downfall missing the penalties (the referee having a 'mare for the Everton one didn't help either but non of them we're stonewall).

People are also banging on about how poor Everton were. They did finish 7th last year so surely we must have played ok.

It's a bad start to the season but let's see who comes in in the next few days and what platform we have. Same as any team this year, a couple of wins will catapult us up the league. Fingers crossed.

But it's the same old story with Kean. Even when we look decent he still can't grind out results. When is he going to convert these games into points?

Petrovic was supposed to be the new Germaine Jones. What did people think of his performance? (can do everything said Kean.)

Either he's very rusty or very poor is my view of him.Completely ineffectual.

That's why I can't get excited about the rest of the Transfer Window. If his targets are any good, Venkys won't pay, if Venkys pay they're not very good. Best we can hope for is a couple of loans at a minute to midnight.

You can't ?

I find that hard to believe , also do you expect to see a new signing that will make any difference to the proceedings ?

The transfer window as been open for 2 months , Kean as made signings , of which NONE were picked to start yesterday.

This club is going down ,with this clueless cretin in charge ..The worst start in 60 yrs , the worse record of a Rovers manager since the war .

Last season , almost single handedley took us from mid table to relegation candidates in only half a season ..

* Jermaine.

He's already been slated after a couple of games, so he's on the right track.

Says a delegation of rovers representatives are travelling to sweden. Rovers have allready seen enough of the player to know his skills, so the meeting is for deciding on wether or not to conclude a deal. However a Karim Ansarifard from Iran is supposed to be another target for rovers, so who they will be decide on is yet not clear. All this according to rovers scandinavian head scout Rolf Andersson.

Petrovic looked like a fish out of water when he came on , didnt know where to be , who to pick up , what to do at set plays but as the game went on he improved and there was 1 or 2 decent passes and did some good defensive work , the more he plays the better he will get

I thought he looked very promising, too.

Wonder how the loan deal for Danny Welbeck is going? Kean and Fergie have a "good relationship" don't they? Oh dear...

Never mind, we alreadt have the "new Denis Irwin" to come in and replace Salgado. Oh dear...

The bullshits is really getting spread thin isn't it?

On the subject of petrovic I was at the game and he was awful. Had no idea what he was doing or where to play. Was scared of the ball and had a head like a biscuit tin. I was convinced that if Everton were going to score it would be one of his mistakes. Still, he does play for Serbia so maybe we can put this one down to nerves. Near the end he at least managed to pass to a team mate a couple of times but never looked like he knew how to mark a player and just let Everton players run free expecting someone else to pick them up.

Gotta feeling that Spurs will come in for Samba on deadline day, they are shifting quite a number of players of their books. My fear is that they will match our valuation and Samba will be sold, then we will be told that the deal was done to late in the day for us to spend the money (ala Carroll at Newcastle), and he will be replaced by a loanee. I hope I am wrong.

Just hoping the report that Spuds are looking at three big foreign ignings are correct.

With the John deal seemingly dead this would leave us up sh!t creek without a paddle.

Relegation would be the safest bet around if Samba is sold.
