With the John deal seemingly dead this would leave us up sh!t creek without a paddle.

Relegation would be the safest bet around if Samba is sold.

Hopefully John deal fallin through means Samba. Also maybe we are in for another defender.

There better be a damn good explanation for that if its true.

Maybe we are in for someone else (Onuha please). If not then yes there needs to be a explanation.

Maybe thats what Kean alluded to when he said we "expect a defender and a striker in", he did not mention John by name.

That's probably because he's like the rest of us and has to wait until the owners and whichever agent is in favour decide who THEY want.

Is Kean getting closer to 'panick buys' time.

Kean's bye-byes would do me just fine.

Thin as our squad is I'd take Kean fired and no movements in or out in the next three days over what I fear is going to happen and Venky's sticking Rovers bottom of the transfer table this summer (ie no purchases of note and Samba going for the asking price).

I thought Petrovic is looking promising. He hasn't played a full game in the premier league yet and you are all judging the lad. I have to say that we created alot of chances and when Formica and Petrovic came on we totally dominated....it should never had been a penalty in the end...but if bad penalty taker Hoilett has scored from the spot Im sure we should won with ease in the end...but thats football...you have to score....I say keep the players we have and buy two really good strikers and we will be fine.

Gotta feeling that Spurs will come in for Samba on deadline day, they are shifting quite a number of players of their books. My fear is that they will match our valuation and Samba will be sold, then we will be told that the deal was done to late in the day for us to spend the money (ala Carroll at Newcastle), and he will be replaced by a loanee. I hope I am wrong.

Especaially after todays result v city

with arsenal and spurs defence all over the place today its going to be a very long 3 days to keep hold of samba ,if he goes any chance we had of staying up will be going with him

Maybe Kean is going to be canned so they won't spend anymore money until he's gone? Or whatever money was left has been spent/set aside for his compo?

If that's the case then there should definitely be a protest. We've done nothing BUT sell players this summer.

thats not bad news thats great news. I've changed my tune Kean has to go NOW and Anderson NOW (not being entertained at cup matches) if the club is to stand any chance. Hunt start searching for a manager please lets wipe the slate completely clean. Offer a few million more than the average to Hughes or Souness ... pick the phone up and ask Tony Parks (if he can come back to the club and take charge for the next few weeks until this is all sorted.

I can dream of course but this is how it would have been down under Jack :)

It could be the bad news is Ollson possibly being sold.

OH no please no he's got bags of potential no no no....sell salgado and tell them he's good on the left its just because we play him on the wrong side he's so slow or something....no no no
