As I said Roversinsider is someone who checks on our MB and other bits and pieces and writes a narrative. Check the tweets, bizarre how quiet he is when Kamy/Nicko/Zac have been quiet- also leaves tweets open enough so that he can wriggle out when they are wrong.

I'm not surprised that you are on of the few that have noticed it.

People liked him when he was repeating all the negative stories.

Anyone thinking that we are going to make a big signing to coincide with first Asia Cup match and it was all carefully timed to maximise publicity? This was the plan all along?

Or is it just me wishful thinking?

Hang on Kamy is saying there's a transfer imminent. Insiderover is saying that Balaji has said go and geta Raul and he will foot the bill. Raul doesn't sound imminent to me. Kamys info seemed more confident than a maybe signing.

And the ideal player to sign for the opening Asia Cup game would be Honda :rover: However - more likely to be Petrovic - a good signing, but will probably feel like an anti-climax by the time it breaks.

I thought Raul left Madrid on a free transfer - would our owners now stump up a fee for a player so old - and presumably on very good money ?

I thought it could be JJ as I mentioned earlier - I think if Raul was here, we would know about it as he is a proper legend !

Either way, Roversinsider has put his nuts out about Raul, wish he could confirm if he means JJ or Raul for tomorrow as we might be able to get Kamy to confirm if he is barkign up the wrong tree or not ?

Still in good shape for his age though. Insiderover says £2.5m fee.

£2.5m for Raul, have him for a couple of seasons + publicity magnet for Venkys?

Youth isn't everything, experience is also important. Agree with you on the fee though can't see us spending that much on Jones when they want to spend the majority on a striker.

My info is that bid has been accepted and player will arrive tomorrow to sort out personal terms, medical etc. So signing is close. Can't say if player has been mentioned in this thread or not.
