Billy Castell Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Interesting to hear who rejected the bid. However, that is all history and I expect Raul to stay in Germany. As for the Yak turning us down, well it is no great loss really is it? Nelsta's news about Onhura is interesting, though I expect Everton, Liverpool or Bolton to be ahead of us. We won't get Dann as well as him unless Samba is on his way.

steo Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Jason Barn Door would not be so positive lately if he knew that a new striker were on the way in. Steve Kean has probably told Roberts that there is not coming in a new striker.. what new striker we haven't even been linked with anyone since ibisevic fell through, what it going on with Scott Dann,is he having a medical or not?
Guest ljb Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 skydovaston iandovaston Man City's Nedum Onouha might choose Blackburn. Wants to stay in the North West. Turned QPR down.
AJW Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 what happened with Cameron Jerome anyway ? when this Dann story broke i'm sure it was said to be a double deal including Jerome? is that still a "live one"
promoted2001 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Schalke wanted €15 million for Raul According to Michel Salgado, it was Schalke that refused the transfer of Raul to Rovers by asking a "barbarity of money" for him, €15 million if Salgado is correct. Oh The Barbarity! Yeh, his not worth half of that.
Sandy84 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Does it end tonight or tomorrow night? Tomorrow night.
Nelsta Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Window closes at 11PM weds for clubs. 11am on thursday for Spurs.
xtp Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Anyone else concerned that we don't seem to be making any effort to bring in a right back? At the moment, our first choice is a bloke who turns 36 in two months. Second choice is a brazillian unproven at virtually any level, let alone top flight. This is a gaping hole in our team that needs to be sorted.
67splitscreen Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 appaerently Onuoha has turned down QPR, Wants to stay in north west. So why even bother talking to them. Onuoha holding out for the call from Coyle. If not we may have chance, has Dann moved into pole position, would we go for both on loan with an option??
promoted2001 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Window closes at 11PM weds for clubs. 11am on thursday for Spurs. It shuts when Redknapp says so. Fifa by-law.
Rover_Shaun Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Does it end tonight or tomorrow night? It NEVER ends the transfer pain is just postponed for 4 months and replaced with the pain of watching Keans men lurch from disaster to disaster. You never know the targets we have now could have their medicals past, terms agreed and contracts ready to sign by January 1st 2012....relegation clauses included of course
Nelsta Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Anyone else concerned that we don't seem to be making any effort to bring in a right back? At the moment, our first choice is a bloke who turns 36 in two months. Second choice is a young brazillian completely umproven at virtually any level, let alone top flight. This is a gaping hole in our team that needs to be sorted. I've heard that Danns has played RB at times and did a passable job.
donnermeat Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 what happened with Cameron Jerome anyway ? when this Dann story broke i'm sure it was said to be a double deal including Jerome? is that still a "live one" I think it just said 'also heading to the north west', wasn't specifically confirmed as the same club.
vintageadidas Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 So tomorrow night at 11pm could be the making or breaking of BRFC. Realistically most serious locally based "signings" will have been through some form of medical today, or they are panic buys. International "signings" could complete tomorrow if flying in from all over the world. Im not so much dissapointed with the transfer window - i am bloomin' petrified we will end up with Hanley, Nelsen and Givet as our CB choices.
LeChuck Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I've heard that Danns has played RB at times and did a passable job. Dann! I pray that he's not being looked at as a right back, total waste of money if so. Can't see Dann being up for that either.
rogerjonesgloves Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 So why even bother talking to them. Onuoha holding out for the call from Coyle. If not we may have chance, has Dann moved into pole position, would we go for both on loan with an option?? Cahill staying at Bolton makes Onouha less of a target for them.
ben_the_beast Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Qpr supporting mate just text me saying an itk fella on their messageboard is saying onuoha has just signed for us. Pinch of salt n all that but who knows.
promoted2001 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I've heard that Danns has played RB at times and did a passable job. We need at least "decent" - ie a natural right back. I tell you what, Newcastle have got one heck of a signing in Davide Santon; he will be a good player for them.
tugay02 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Onouha, Dann and El Hamdoui. This would make me happy with no other outgoings!
AmazinTim Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Onouha, Dann and El Hamdoui. This would make me happy with no other outgoings! Ditto. No excuse for not finishing top 10 with that side. Except of course an inept manager.
roverandout Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 dann, a quality striker and kean's head on a spike would make me happy.
Nelsta Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Latest rumour on twitter is Onouha is going to Bolton.
