keaney23 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Dann , a quality striker and a midfielder on loan would complete the team for me. Also I would love to see the back of Diouf

67splitscreen Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Cahill staying at Bolton makes Onouha less of a target for them. I think that is a pretty safe suggestion, get the feeling the deal is all set to go if he moves though, he was in talks with Coyle for some time last week.
perthblue02 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Just got this from a friend in Israel - "Omri Kanada on way to Rovers ?" anybody heard anything, seems a bit out of the blue ? just done a quick search , he's 25 played for Israel under 21's and plays for Hapoel Tel Aviv and is a defender
Jamesw1982 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Spurs have offered Bassong to bolton as part of Cahill deal surely this will end there interest in Onuoha too?
chaddyrovers Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 is Dann having his medical at the minute at rovers??? 2 people on twitter are saying this? is it right?
stu07 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Rangers rejected a 6.5 million bid for Jelavic from Leicester. Not certain the Dann transfer is as far along as first thought. We should offer them Hanley for the season.
RoverPedro Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 No one else think we should offer samba to spurs for 3 mill plus hutton( valued at 2mill) crouch(9mill) and bassong(2mill). Would give us the striker we need. Salgados replacement and a decent cb. If we signed scott dann as well?
aXept Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 @reluctantnicko Going to have to go dark for a bit. Some very odd things happening. Crouch. Ngog. Rovers. News later. Hm..
T.J.Newton Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Anyone else concerned that we don't seem to be making any effort to bring in a right back? At the moment, our first choice is a bloke who turns 36 in two months. Second choice is a brazillian unproven at virtually any level, let alone top flight. This is a gaping hole in our team that needs to be sorted. No that would make to much sense. onuoha id of tought would be ideal he can play fullback and centreback, he has the pace, height and strength that selgado lacks, hed just need a little experiance which hed pick up in no time from salgado.
LeChuck Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Ditto. No excuse for not finishing top 10 with that side. Except of course an inept manager. Apart from the lack of a proper central midfield! Petrovic isn't the immediate answer.
67splitscreen Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Liam Ridgewell hands in a transfer request.
tombarton Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Liam Ridgewell hands in transfer request. Any takers?
67splitscreen Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Apart from the lack of a proper central midfield! Petrovic isn't the immediate answer. Certainly not in a 4-4-2
Guest ljb Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Football_Agent9 Football Agent QPR+Blackburn in for Ridgewell so far. thefootylad A Football Fan @ @Football_Agent9 QPR - Ridgewell, Blackburn - Dann? Or will Blackburn get both?
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Liam Ridgewell hands in transfer request. Any takers? makes them unlikely to let dann go now, surely.
Hekla Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Bolton won't need Onuoha with Cahill staying and they also loaned Boyata. Onuoha and Dann would be massive signings. I'm praying that Dann is signing at least, then hopefully a striker. I'm also relieved that Yakubu turned us down, we don't need his type.
Kamy100 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Football Agent 9 reports that Rovers and QPR in for Ridgewell. How many defenders do we want if this is true, although I am getting worried that Samba could be off, hearing that Arsenal could be in for him again very very soon.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 grrrr we're gonna end up with ridgewll
Mercer Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Football Agent 9 reports that Rovers and QPR in for Ridgewell. How many defenders do we want if this is true, although I am getting worried that Samba could be off, hearing that Arsenal could be in for him again very very soon. I am told that Samba is in London as we speak. Can anyone confirm or otherwise.
Roverdale Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 makes them unlikely to let dann go now, surely. Perhaps he handed in the transfer request because Dann told him he was leaving? Maybe Dann is all but wrapped up.. Ridgewell Dann Samba Givet is an unbelievable defensive 4.

Like when Shearer went I would respect him still if he went. Hope no one bids though.

Kamy100 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I am told that Samba is in London as we speak. Can anyone confirm or otherwise. As of 2pm there had been no bid made or accepted by Rovers for Samba. Also the way information is leaking from Arsenal everyone would know if Samba was about to sign.

modes98 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 makes them unlikely to let dann go now, surely. Birmingham are desperate for the cash, they are struggling big time at the moment and the money from the move + wages off the bill would be of great help. Plus the player wants to move to the PL. I think Ridgewell is just being a bit devous after Hughton said he was the 1 defender they did not want to sell.
