There is far more options than that on the table and dependant on chains of events tomorrow, it will ultimately decide which striker arrives at Ewood.

You've hung in there all summer, keep the faith for another 24 hours or so. If at close of the window tomorrow we haven't bought any further players then we can look at where we go from here but at the moment indications are that more players will arrive tomorrow, when you have people like Zahavi working for you then they will deliver players, even if it takes right upto the last minute.

Luca Toni has been offered but this is a deal that is far from being done. There are 2 other strikers that are being chased, not 100% sure of the names. Toni is something that has been proposed to Rovers but he is not the priority. All I have been told is that Rovers expect to be busy tomorrow, time for the talking to stop and for Venky's to deliver.

Venky's need to deliver big time tomorrow in my view.

I expect at least 3 or 4 signings. We need 2 strikers, 1 defender(Dann) and either midfielder or full back.

If Luca Toni signed it would quite possibly be the biggest punchline to an inside joke that the world has ever seen. It would almost be worth it to get him just to see how many fans could legitimately have his name on the back of their shirt.

Toni is a decent option in my opinion. Past his best but he will do a good job for us I reckon...alot better than Yakubu or Jason Roberts for example.

Toni should go to a midlands or London club, for the sole reason that he can visit his cousin's restaraunt in Bedford easily. I don't know if he is still any good, but he was decent when he was first mentioned 3 or so years ago. I have a feeling age has caught up with him and he would be as mobile as a sloth with concrete shoes. Having said that, Nicko is probably swinging one of his daughter's handbags in our direction.

Kammy's last post makes it sound like one of those children's adventure books where there is a choice after a short passage of the story e.g. If you choose the left door, turn to page 23, if you choose the right door turn to page 34 etc.
