I agree some of you do nothing but moan! Some of you are moaning that your moaning!

Give it a rest! I have been supporting The Rovers for 30 years and I will support them for the next 30 years no matte what. Sure I get pi$$ed off with them like we all do but some of you really need to calm down.

support the team and believe in them no matter who is playing for them.

I can't see Leeds selling Gradel and Snodgrass, but you never know! Snodgrass is welcome here.

Gradel signed for St Ettiene about an hour ago on a 4 year deal

Yakubu is better than Roberts, I have no doubts about that – but we need to play him/ not Roberts & noth both of them together.

Also I don’t understand teams trying to help Everton at the last minute with some cash to help them strengthen!!

Been following the "action" since early morning and don't know what to think about this debacle. Twitter is making things interesting....if not confusing. Too bad there's a number of knobheads out there who don't understand the difference between "rumour" and "done deal" and start slagging off those who try and give us snippets of information - add to that som kids who find it funny to make things up as they go. Fear this might make some of them to go silent as we aproach 11. Either way hats off to glen9mullan, nicko etc for your contributions so far today.

Only player mentioned today that somewhat fill me with hope is Dann. A strikeforce of Roberts & Yakubu not so much. Still waiting to find out who this mr X striker is now El Hamdaoui has moved to Spain. Just read that depending on movements at Stoke we might be in for Kenwyne Jones but find that very hard to believe. Still 8 hours to go but probably should be 8 months if we hope to bring in as many as 4-5 players.

Now...can we PLEASE push the Dann-deal through?

All clubs want this, and I have a lot more faith in Goodwillie than Yakubu..

Call me weird or naive, but I agree about Goodwillie.

I have a strong feeling after seeing Goodwillie a couple of times now, that all we need is someone who can play the nuisance for him to feed off. Obviously 'Chase-um' and Yak are not the best around, but we need someone who can score fifteen scruffy goals this season.

I reckon he will do it and midfield is the key area where we need to be strongest.

Apparently other clubs interest in Dann has faded again... According to LET journos. Probably don't want to waste time trying to sign him under our noses and go for other clean cut deals. Looks like the path is clear to get him signed up.

Yakubu is an awful signing.....Everton have no fit strikers yet he still doesn't get a game! What's that tell you?

Way too much negativity on here. I can't even remember the last summer transfer window where we were actually competitive in the transfer market??

Yakubu has a good record and a pedigree at Premier League level. I'd much prefer him to some unknown youngster from abroad, we've got enough of them now. Dann will help keep us up, hopefully Kean will be replaced by Xmas and the new manager has a decent squad to work with.

Feed the Yak and he will score!

Isn't Goodwillie better than Yakubu? Even Rochina is. Don't make it. Nice to see Dann doing his medical after fee and personal terms was agreed. Signing subject to medical then.

Yak is cack!

I hope we haven't just decided to spend the £6m allocated to a striker on a defender instead, and opting for a cheap striker. That could prove disastrous.

Why don't some rovers fans stop moaning all the time about Yakubu coming to us. I would say who would you sign and would they come?

hasnt had a game for everton is years. shipped off to leicester on loan last season... who else is in for yak ??

Arsenal sign Mertesacker and almost Santos....so no way Samba will go there....only risk if Spurs do swap deal with rovers...

Nicko seems to think we look like signing only Dann and Yakubu when i asked him.

@JayWarmz Desperate and Dann looks like it. Mind u Zahavi has Dos Santos. There's a totally random thought.
