OMG, Sky Sports news have "revealed" Liverpool are interested in Bellamy...that's such old news.

Regaring Yakubu, he would give us a striker who would be prepare to shoot and is a better option than Roberts.

Arsenal sign Mertesacker and almost Santos....so no way Samba will go there....only risk if Spurs do swap deal with rovers...

Signal is Dann deal is completed?

SSN:- Scott Dann willing to join Blackburn Rovers on the condition Christopher Samba was NOT sold.

So will rovers fans stop trying to sell our players NOW!!!!!

Samba won't go anywhere now, it's way too late to set anything up from scratch. Besides the bloke on Sky said the Dann deal was dependent on Samba staying, so if true and with Dann finishing up his medical now I reckon Samba is safe.

Although yakubu isnt great, he does improve us alot from roberts. No doubt in mind with yakubu up top we beat everton. He has faults, but finishing isnt one of them. Damm fine finisher if given a chance

Way too much negativity on here. I can't even remember the last summer transfer window where we were actually competitive in the transfer market??

Yakubu has a good record and a pedigree at Premier League level. I'd much prefer him to some unknown youngster from abroad, we've got enough of them now. Dann will help keep us up, hopefully Kean will be replaced by Xmas and the new manager has a decent squad to work with.

Feed the Yak and he will score!

Feed the Yak?? Put the Yak on a diet would be more like it...looks like he has been VERY well fed over the past few years!! Seems the staff at Everton took it literally!!

I don't mind us signing the Yak. I think he is potentially better than Roberts and has good experience (as he is about 80 now). As long as the fee is low and wages are highly incentivised.

I would prefer us to get in a loan for a more proven goalscorer as well, fingers crossed.

Just hoping the Dann deal is completed.
