Looks like it is just going to be Yakabu at the moment!

If thats the case, the deal with Ibi must have been pulled so that we fund the signing of Dann then, which would be strange since a good striker is alot more important to us than a good centre back.

Glen/ Kamy/ Makey - get on the blower and tell kean to go nowhere near Samaras!!! Awful signing

Samaras is not coming and certainly not on any deal which costs Rovers money.

Dann and Yakubu virtually done. Not the end of business as they are still working on other deals, no idea who these players are. Gignac could be a possibility if he is in the UK, Fulham after other players do doubt he will be going there. Am told that Crouch to Sunderland.

For me keeping Samba is a huge huge bonus, adding Dann gives us some superb strength at the back. Yakubu is a decent impact player, if we can add another striker then that would excellent.

The other one to watch is Jermaine Jones, he is on his way out of Schalke and as of yet he hasn't signed for anyone else, just got a gut feeling that we may get him at the 11th hour, he is desperate to comeback to the UK, particularly the north west as his wife and kids are now living at in Cheshire.

Dreaming but I suppose there is an outside chance we could end up like this by 11pm:-

---------------Robinson

Onouha---Samba---Dann---Olsson

-----------J Jones---Nzonzi

---Simon-----Formica------Hoilett

-- ----------------Gignac

Subs:- Bunn, Neslen, Givet, Petrovic, Rochina, Yakubu, Goodwillie

Squad:- Salgado, Hanley, Pedersen, Dunn, Roberts

Dann and Yakubu are in the bag. The other three (Onouha, Gignac and J Jones) are hoping rather than knowing. But if we ended up in with that squad we would have a superb blend of young talent and experience. I for one would be really really excited.

That looks pretty amazing, I must say. Really well balanced too.

I can't imagine we'll sign that many though. Jermaine Jones would be my main target now that we seemingly have Yakubu and Dann.

So gignac scores 8 in 38 and is 'exactly what we need' yet yak scores 11 in 20 and is awful according to some :s

Gignac has a similar scoring record to Pavone and people weren't entirely happy with that signing.

The only thing I can think is because he is younger and has had international caps.

Gignac's scoring record is not great but he is a powerful aerial player for Hoilett, Simon, Formica, Rochina, Goodwillie to play off. He has a lot of talent. I really think he would make a massive difference to us.

I quite like Yakubu too - however that the only takers were Leicester last season and that he has been frozen out at a Everton side short on forwards makes me think there is something going on there....

Is the RB mentioned here Omri Kende on his way to Brockhall?

Gignac is talented, although he can be frustrating. He's had a few personal problems that have held his career back, but there is no doubt that he has ability and that his style of play would be suited to the premier league. Capable of playing up front by himself or with a strike partner, he would suit our style of play and would be able to fit into the way we've set our team up in recent weeks.

There seems to be a list floating around of players that can leave Germany today, I have it but it's a PDF from their FA so Can't post a link. I'll try to find a link.

Must be some red tape they have if your name is not on it you cannot move after it is released, guess they don't want Arry type deals being done, It was published around mid day.

Cisse, JJ and Ibisevic are not on it.
