I wouldnt say it's the owners stumping up cash. I'd say it's the money we got from Phil Jones being at least partly reinvested.

Yeah, It's not that I want us to spend money for the sake of it but our squad was in massive need of reinfocements long before Venky's turned up. The fact they said they would invest anyway, coupled with the sale of Phil Jones... makes me wonder why on earth the whole lot, plus additional capital, isn't being spent. They still have time to prove themselves in the transfer market though so they will have my full backing until they fail to show that.

How many people are checking back through the threads now haha.

My guess would have been Valdez up until this point.

Think its time to hit football manager and wiki for some ideas/potential dreaming.

is the player from Burnley?

Wouldn't class anyone at Burnley as marquee, but I wouldn't mind Jay Rodriguez for the right price.

How the hell can Wham afford eight bloody million? They'll be sorry if they don't come back up and spend all their parachute payments.

Guess they have owners who put money where their mouth is.

I'm kinda breaking Kamy's confidence by telling you this (sorry Kamy), but it's Alvaro Negredo.

WOW 20 goals in 38 games, this guy might actually know where the back of the net is :rover:

Difficult to have a go at any owners when you are a Rovers fan. Our owners try their best to make Mike Ashley look good.

At least he will stump up for Demba Ba's wages.

Carson Yeung? At least our owners aren't criminals.

 I'd better nip this in the bud since I'm a fairly regular poster who doesn't have a reputation for making rumours up so people might believe me.

The Negredo thing was a bit of a joke at chaddy's expense. Sorry to get anyones hopes up..

I have a feeling it will be a spaniard. My absolute dream striker would be Fernando Llorente!

Better wake up then. :)

I dont' for one minute think it will be him! More than likely a Riki or someone of that calibre.

On a completely unrelated note... (well Spanish) Malaga are making a few noises. Recently added Santi Cazorla for a cool £20m
