Really happy with Petrovic, he looks a class act, FINALLY, we can get the ball rolling, get these Strikers in now!!

I think we have 3 strikers on the go at the moment, can't see us buying all three.

Raul is still being worked on, Zac confirmed this yesterday lunchtime, I was surprised due to funds reportedly available, but apparently its a possibility.

Then we have another striker, quality in my book, been mentioned on here last night by posters guessing the name.

And we have a little known striker, had not heard of him myself, but looked him up and was surprised to see his record and where he'd been playing, Zac has not confirmed fully we're after this guy though, he's checking.

I assume Zac is feeding Nicko, I think Nicko has said in the past he only writes once two sources confirm, maybe he didn't get the confirmation in time.

Valdez was revealed by Nicko how long ago?

Baba is a new one.

Both these players are not the players Zacc has mentioned, but seem to fit the budget better in my opinion.

The main striker Zacc mentioned would take most of the budget if its 10m, and then we have Raul which is a different pot of cash I assume.

Interesting times.

That cannot be true, according to Roverinsider we MUST sell Kalinic to buy Petrovic, wonder who is right Cryer or Roverinsider.

Both could be- we don't know how close the Kalinic sale is or when the Petrovic deal will be sealed.

Al's contributions to this site over the past few years have been great. He is a valued member of this site and when people like you come along disrespecting them, it is a bit annoying. This messageboard wasn't like this before and it shouldn't be like this now. So cut out your personal insults and jog on.

On the striker front, I'd be happy with Raul, Baba and another.

Looks like everything is starting to move slowly.

Excuse me, I posted an article from the Mirror with a comment "saying burst you're bubble?" as this it was disappointing to read what it turns out to be rubbish. Especially after the hype of potential new in-comings. Then this bloke starts to have a go questioning my credentials as a rovers fan? Obviously trying to make a point that i took some kind of pleasure in it. The only pleasure i took in it was beating Chaddy to a link for once! (sorry Chaddy!) Pathetic and sad.

I think you should both be completely ashamed of yourselves. As senior members of this messageboard surely you should be welcoming new members such as me who have been going to ewood for over 20 years. A lot of new members leave due to such closed minded folks such as yourselves and he deserved a bit of lip back. So don't come at me for sticking up for myself. I belong here just as much as you regardless how long i have been posting... It's a messageboard.

Couldnt agree more Neal. Had the same treatment myself, its like they think we owe them something because they have been members longer! oh and if one is in trouble you can be sure there mates will all back them, never seen such a pathetic bunch of mutual back slapping! They should be welcoming new members and not pulling the 'ive been a member since' card...no ones opinion is more valuable than anothers! Dont stress dude they want there lil boys club to remain unchanged yet continue to post on a public forum? Set up a private one if your so upset by newbies!
