Well why don't you stop following Philip everywhere he posts and talk football instead?

Is this a serious post?

1. I did not realise that you were a mod.

2. I have posted and responded in a couple of threads, my points related to Phillip are football related- yes?

3. If you dislike what I have to say, please 'ignore.'

Neither have anywhere near the caps needed for work permit even if Sierra Leone would be ranked high enough in FIFA's rankings - which it isn't.

I don't know whether they would grant one in this case, but they can make an exception for players considered to have 'exceptional talent' for example Anderson's transfer to Man Utd.

Sure, but that's usually applied to young prospects. Bangura's are 21 and 22 respectively, and a year ago played in 3rd and 4th division in Sweden before their transfers to AIK. If that qualifies for an exceptional talent, then it's a very loose term.

I think they should consider revoking Anderson's work permit as there is nothing 'exceptional' about him!

Hence the reason I said I don't know whether they would grant one.

Just trying to make the point that permits aren't always black and white, though it looks that way in this case, unfortunately.

BALAJI'S LIST...PODOLKSI, FRED, KERZHAKOV, LUIS FABIANO, VAGNER LOVE, RAFAEL SOBIS & SEYDOU DOUMBIA

Judging by the last few pages of this thread, this guy now knows all the details of Niko's transfer fee, everything there is to know about the bank loans and to top it all off he's got access to every transfer list ever written. If there ever was any doubt: He's a fraud. A big, fat one.

After this long and tedious window, I am literally sick of seeing or hearing the word 'list'. Anybody else?

We've had so many of them they're coming out our of ears.

The Rao's are like a bunch of women, all they do is sit around and make lists.

Wow, roversinsider hasn't thrown enough names to cover himself, has he?

No but he has certainly mentioned enough players to thoroughly confuse the issue for the various journos that might be printing and thereby alerting other clubs to our intended targets.

That is probably the next best tactic to throw 'em off the scent, but still comes a very poor second to keeping his big gob firmly shut. But then he would not be able to play the "big cheese bringer of news" on the MB would he?

Valdez has already been heavily linked. Rasmus Elm is staying put after turning down several offers already. Damiao/Negredo are being chased by bigger clubs, prices are probably out of our reach. Caicedo gone to Lokomotiv Moscow.

That leaves Cacau and Caracciolo.

With regards to speed of getting work permits- this is a function of how badly you want it quickly, how well you know the system and (sorry to say) which direct lines you have in your phone book. JW usually got them very quickly and if he had been here, the Petrovic Work Permit would most certainly have been granted by now.

I'm curious as to when JW was able to get a work permit in a day, as you seem to be annoyed we haven't gotten one that quickly...

Pathetic if this is the crap on keans list then its gonna be a long season.

He's bound to try and bring down at least 1 scot, all the scots try and do the same, mcleish - ferguson, mcfadden etc and ferguson with fletcher.

Not saying it's a good thing but I don't think we will go for anymore crap HOPEFULLY

How come you think he's crap? Just because he plays in the spl? Maybe its more of the kind of target we're going to attract? We're always going to struggle to get the likes of raul, podolski etc....

A year ago it would of seemed like the obvious target. Had a good season last year

being linked with cr*p again i see, whats new? its one thing looking good in the scandanavian leagues and irish league etc but its a huge step up to the premiership, something which i thing these guys wont be able to make. As for goodwillie, why are we after a player blackpool want? Championship football is probably his level.

Get him in on loan! He wasnt Mr. 'No Goals' 2 years ago was he? or when he got 17m for him was he? Granted it didnt go for him since January but hes alot better than what we have and better than gambling on some Honduran 21 year old playing in Belguim who scored 14 goals in 47 games last season (No he doesnt exist but thats what were capable of) plus he would happily come here and with olsson, junior, rochina supplying ammo the goals would come!

P.S im with you the squad is very poor right now but this would be a start!

Did you attend at all last season? He was hopeless and at £90K a week we need him like we need swine flu.
