Well done Glen, all of your information is correct.

Guys things are in full swing RE transfers, there is A LOT of things going on. The best news for me is that people at Ewood Park (2 in particular) are involved in the process. I think the next 10 days are going to be busy.

very good news is that people at Ewood Park are involve in the transfer process.

Are the 2 people in particular Paul Hunt and Anthony Bloch???

You can analyze over and over again the financial aspect, the debt the incomings the out goings but at the end of the day all you are doing is educated guesses. Its pure speculation and unnecessary negative speculation at that. Rovers have said time and time again, No one has to be sold before we buy we have money to spend and guess what were spending it and wisely. 2 million for Petrovic is a cracking deal, hes 22 and hes vastly experienced for his age. David Goodwillie a very highly rated forward again 2 million and aged 22. 4 million on two highly rated players and if Steve Kean, Venkys, Ryan Nelson and David Dunn are correct, we got plently more in the tank to match the clubs ambition.

you do realise that these 'educated guesses' are based on the published Rovers accounts right?

exactly why do people need to keep saying the same crap over and over and over again, its like they want to force us to believe it when all we want to do is see what happens in the weeks coming.

I'm open minded enough to belive that Venkys, Kean, Dunn and Nelsen MIGHT be telling the truth and we are going to build a decent squad.

Gibson is the player in question regarding the loan but there is no guarantee we will renew our interest, Personally i think he would be better than a lot we have in the midfield area, but until we get rid of them it seems pointless

Glen you said loan had been given a green light, could you confirm as this would dispel yet another conspiracy that United will not deal with Rivers.

You were surprised a player plucked from the bottom division in England was a technical flop?

It was a gamble, paid off as his 6 goals helped keep us up. Never going to be good enough though, many knew that.

Now Kevin Keegan, similarly plucked from 3rd or 4th division. He turned out to be a minor success did he not. You win some, you lose some.

Stead dis a job, a vital one at the time and I'm sure would get a cheer as a visitor at Ewood.

Gibson wanted 40k a week at Sunderland and they was not for doing it, Rovers made it clear they would foot the 40k and match Sunderlands agreed fee following a loan spell, the player was keen,

Another source Elaborated a little more and told me that the player was actually at the Trafford centre waiting for the call from Rovers to complete the deal a few weeks ago and that call never came, Rovers had not been in touch since leaving the player in limbo a little.

United are quite happy to do the deal cos our cash is as good as anyone elses and its down to where the player would like to be,

Now the interest is still there but dependant on departures

Not worth 40k a week, don't know how much the transfer fee is but I think its wise to get him on a loan first so good call on that one. Would rather pay Hitzlsperger 40k a week than him.

Ive stopped following Roversinsider, Hes about as in the know as me and you. I suggest people do the same and end his 'power trip'

I'm afraid, with Nicko going AWOL, people need a new journo for their transfer fix.

We news Oetrovic. Funn is outh of hos deprh

Is this what happens if you type with your nose whilst squinting? This is less intelligable than a text from my Polish friend

It sounds like we are trying to get some much needed depth to our squad, by signing good cheap players before trying to get the big name signing. I just hope that means we can dump the deadwood like Grella, Andrews etc. even if we take a loss on the fees. Unless Goodwillie is the 1 in the 4-2-3-1 formation Kean seems to favour, then maybe we need to target another out-and-out striker. A lot of the recent links seem to be those who play just off the striker, or more of a forward.
