I think Roversinsider was probably right about Honda's overall cost (with wages etc) being too much. However, you can deduce that from just seeing what is going on. I think a lot of the stuff he says is his opinion masked in a fake shroud of insider knowledge. Shame really.

Just watching Inter Milan v Celtic - what a machine Scott Brown is, reminds me of a young Roy Keane.

Not as good a player as he was 3 or 4 years ago. Not sure why he hasn't progressed because he looked a world beater in his early 20s. Still, probably only about 26.

Oh yeah, that's true for most things you hear. If you have the nous not to get too worked up about rumours then you don't get as upset if they don't come off. It does not mean they are any less true though.

I think Roversinsider is genuine and not a wind up, whether or not is info is sometimes mis-guided

If Rovers had an £18m overdraft and Phil Jones certain fee is £16.5m, the bank will want the other £1.5m before not moving to seize whatever monies they believe they are entitled to.

Hence the need to shift Kalinic and get £1.5m of cash in- I guess the bank will be nervous about accepting just a contract with a Ukrainian club.

This might be a reason for the oddities over Goodwillie and Petrovic.

I think more and more it is looking like the very best net result we can expect on the transfer front this summer is to end up at net -£8m ie £18m overdraft repaid plus £10m injection.

Far more likely that wages and fees will need to be taken into the equation so unless Balaji gets a marquee signing hooked (and frankly that seems very unlikely because he has bungled the previous targets so badly that the only deals available are ones where he gets "taken" big time) then I think we are probably looking at Rovers being around net -£15m or worse on transfer spend by 1 September.

As the situation looks at the moment, that will put us bottom of the PL spending list league table this summer.

Sorry - doesn't add up - it is widely reported that the Jones fee wasn't all up front - so therefore we couldn't only have £1.5m to pay off.

Whether is genuine or not is not the problem, the problem is when people take rumours as fact that this board goes a bit nutty, I don't like it when things get too negative even when for example Nelsen has asked for patience.

Now the roverinside has come out and said we have a potential budget of up to 50 million when a week ago we were broke.

Then he has gone and said Samba was at a hotel (suggesting a move) when he was actually in the stands.

And then he listend 30 players we were interested in yesterday and only 2 hours later we bidded for a player that he had not listed.

Whether you believe him and I don't trust what he says, doesn't really make a difference, but I hope we spend 50 million
