67splitscreen Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 What about David Trezeguet. Swansea are in for him. The press have the cheek to laugh at us.

LeChuck Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I've heard we may be looking at Owen Hargreaves, I think he'd be a great signing on a pay as you play deal, but I can't see it as we already have the Zonz and soon we will have Petrovic, too. He would be an amazing signing on a pay as you play deal. How reliable is the link?
rebelmswar Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I've heard we may be looking at Owen Hargreaves, I think he'd be a great signing on a pay as you play deal, but I can't see it as we already have the Zonz and soon we will have Petrovic, too. Its going to be so cute watching Grella and Hargreaves race wheelchairs and sign each others casts.
Bobby G Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I'd take a shot with Hargreaves for sure. Low risk at pay as you play.
BRFC_Pilkz Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Hargreaves would be good on a pay-as-you-play deal.
JW11 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Goodwillie must be imminent, sky T.V are down at brockhall waiting outside the gates
dhughes07 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Re Hargreaves I have posted this before. My mate spoke to Ferguson a few month back, my mate asked about Hargreaves and the reply was, he will never play again that lad he is finished. Not sure i would risk him.
Bobby G Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I doubt Ferguson would say something like that to a random person. Maybe he said he wont play at United again.
Hi Mack Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Re Hargreaves I have posted this before. My mate spoke to Ferguson a few month back, my mate asked about Hargreaves and the reply was, he will never play again that lad he is finished. Not sure i would risk him. I seriously can't see Ferguson being that disrespectful to one of his players!
rebelmswar Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Do they do pay as you play insurance?. I would imagine he would be as insurable as Kean in a Ferrari after the court case.
67splitscreen Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I would imagine he would be as insurable as Kean in a Ferrari after the court case. That tongue of yours must have caused so many self inflicted injuries. Dagger doesn't even come close.
Fraserkirky Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Since we seem to be interested in alot of young scottish players, may I once again express an interest in one of my compatriots, in Hibs Left Back- Callum Booth. The boy is one of the best players I've seen in Scotland. Will be playing in the premiership by next summer, our need for a pure left back back and our managers roots probably suggests we are looking at him.
philipl Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I would certainly support the shout for Booth. I don't see either Olsson or Givet as particularly competent left backs.
booth Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I would certainly support the shout for Booth. I don't see either Olsson or Givet as particularly competent left backs. I would so that then the name on the back of my shirt referred to me and a current player - two for the price of one
roverandout Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 still need a finisher, dont want park because hes cr*p, im not interested in selling shirts, want someone to put the ball in the back of the net.
roversfanben Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 If we are to bid for a young Korean, I would rather we bid for Kim Bo-Kyung, IMO he is better and he would only cost £2m-£3m.
rovers1993 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 still need a finisher, dont want park because hes cr*p, im not interested in selling shirts, want someone to put the ball in the back of the net. are you a football fan? have you seen park play? if you have then i sincerely hope you are not mentally retarded to say that.... park is class. he is a very good player and would be a good capture for us. no matter where he is from or what he can do for our team in terms of publicity, he will definately improve our 1st 11.
roversfanben Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 He would be an amazing signing on a pay as you play deal. How reliable is the link? Sorry, just saw your post now. The link is fairly reliable, but I don't see it panning out.
Roverino Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 still need a finisher, dont want park because hes cr*p, im not interested in selling shirts, want someone to put the ball in the back of the net. On what basis is he crap? Football Manager basis? Or are you a Monaco season ticket holder/expert in Ligue 1?
American Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I would so that then the name on the back of my shirt referred to me and a current player - two for the price of one That's the reason I'm excited about the Goodwillie signing...
Roverino Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 just not what we need right now. Who do we need right now? And dont tell me somebody who can put the ball in the back of the net. By all accounts, it sounds as if Goodwillie (should be complete the signing) sounds like he can. Any suggestions?
roverandout Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 yes he can at a lower level, doesnt mean to say he will do it at the top level, i bet you think goodwillie is the answer to all our goalscoring problems. A player like raul would be much less of a gamble.
yeti-dog Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Frankly, too many on here talk as if we're participating in a real life FM game. I think players like Goodwillie are a much better fit for a club like ours... Also, I love how quick people are to disregard potential signings.ie the monaco striker is "crap" when from what I've seen of him he looks quite tidy. Some people really need to adjust their expectation level.
