Don't think it would be best if Barton came, samba said he was the dirtiest player he has ever played against and I'm sure pedersen will have heart attack if he see's him at brockhall

You do realise Roversi that you mention two players (CS & MGP) who may not be here anyhow come september 1st.

I'd sign Barton, he could be the difference between staying up and going down the way this window is going.

The latest in the minute-by-minute saga of Goodwillie is that Rangers are very close to our bid. If Kean had allowed the medical to happen in his absence he'd be in our number 9 shirt by now.

Anyone know if Nicko is alright or know of the reason why he has stopped posting, its the first time during a transfer season that he has such a prolonged absence - not sur if anyone is in contatc with him !

Local news here in the land of jock, is that goodwillie is now not due to have his medical and meeting with keane till weds at the earliest.

Plenty of time for rangers to counter yet...

Is this because keane is in India with Jason, mgp and the admiral and not back in the uk yet?

Yes, according to LT the medical will not happen before Kean is back from India..

I reckon Dundee Utd and Goodwillie's agent have been using us to squeeze a better offer out of Rangers, it's happened before many times. Rangers and Celtic try and get players from lesser SPL clubs for less than they're worth and this is a way of getting full value while the player still gets to go to play where he wants to play, i.e. Rangers in this case.

Sky reporting he's having his medical tomorrow. Dundee are very confident that he will be moving to Rovers.

Im surprised Rovers have not gone for David Jones who is a free agent on trail at Wigan. He is a box to box midfielder and i know in the past we have been linked with him. Not saying he would first name on team sheet but he must be better than Andrews/grella and he is only 26.
