Got to say the Goodwillie thing sounds daft.. we invite him down he has a medical(?) we agree terms.. however the manager isn't even in the bloomin country and has to talk to him first.. I mean come on guys thats plain silly, if your going to all the effort sorting the contract and what not why invite him down when he can't sign!!! If your negotiating a large contract (in this case 3m plus, wage, fees, agency fees etc) you do not arrange the date to sign it on a day your away or even the day your due back, thats a sure fire way to put the client of working with you.

And for those ranting we don't know what happened, we have it confirmed Kean wasn't here (and was only due back today), Goodwillie was, he has not signed and is back in Dundee, I really doubt he came to Blackburn for a quick holiday.

Same stuff happened with Pavone, while I wasn't that keen on signing him I can't help but feel sorry for him in regards to how we messed him around.

And,maybe just maybe, you could answer why our owners and manager are so unprofessional in what they do?

Ask them why in a pre season the manager and only striker we have are buggering about in India and more importantly, ask them to be honest and not lie to us continually!

Mein gott, I've read a whole page on this thread with more sense than rubbish!

I love some of the brilliant revisionist history we get though.

I'll also say, I'd love to be back up north for a bit and bump into the one person associated with the club that I vaguely know. What I'd ask him? Probably just catch up a bit, certainly wouldn't be pestering the poor bugger about the minutiae of his company!

We'll make a few signings and be in the mix this season, not many teams that we compete with have improved massively so we'll be right either way.

Finally for this post, I'm glad that I don't have message boards and journalists looking into my work for company rated second in it's sector in the country. We're a right bunch of comedians when it comes to the day to day stuff.

Punching ABOVE our weight? I'm sorry, but did you see our positioning last season?

We might occasionally get a decent result against the best in the league, but when we can't beat the likes of Wigan, we're most definitely NOT punching above our weight.

Every fan is entitled to their opinion. Even Vinjay. Don't set yourself as the standard to which every football fan should be.
