Yes, good news!

Welcome aboard

Edit: What is a slight concern is the note at the bottom about getting the paperwork in for saturday, do we have the right infastructure in place now, was this one of Pinchers roles and a department we are now weaker in?

This is just quality! All puzzles come in to place. Just one striker and a defender please.

Nice to see a serbian player.... I hope he will be as succesful as Vidic....

Does anybosy actually know anything about him other than from youtube? He looks good on there but I had never heard of him before.

It's a tricky position but lets hope he gets up to speed quickly, lets be patient, remember JJ's first couple of games involved quite a few late tackles that could have been costly.

We absolutely needed this guy. If only we could somehow get J Jones back it would be our best midfield for years. A new centre half and a striker now on my wish list and would it be too much to hope for Vieira as well?

Would certainly be a excellent window if all of that happens, i think we'll get a new forward and a new centre half in before the window closes, i dont know why though but i just don't think we will end up with Viera.

Have Sky Sports even mentioned this yet?

They go mad over one of the big clubs being tenuously linked to anyone yet don't report actual signings for Rovers!

Edit: I see they have ackonwledge it now they hadn't a while back when watching SSN

Like the look of this kid, looks rangey. Reminds me a bit of Wim Jonk, the good one, not the @#/? one that went to Wednesday.

Two good signings so far. £11 million left to burn

two down two to go, I'm glad we've sealed this transfer though, looks like he has a good future ahead of him.

Excellent transfer policy so far from Rovers, young players with potential and something to prove - its just been a frustrating time waiting for the signings to happen.

Onuha, Vieirihna, a striker + a couple of loans and we're looking good for the future.

A biggish name striker and a centre half now please and even the doom brigade will have to keep schtum.

Last season we went into the last game fighting for our lives against relegation. I think that we can agree then that by definition we weren't good enough.

Of that team we have lost the future England captain, half the strike force and JJ from midfield. Junior also has not signed. Samba is edging towards the door. In replacement we have a striker from the Scottish leagues who is not going to be a 20 a season guy however hopeful you are of his potential. If Petrovic is even as good as JJ then we haven't improved that position in a team that remember wasn't good enough last year.

We have a handful of days left for the first game of the season and what most are billing as a 6 pointer already.

Every pundit I've read or heard from so far has us down for relegation and of those that have visited Brockhall (listen to the Sunday Supplement) we are supposedly in complete disarray.

In what universe should the 'doom brigade' or any other section of the support be pleased with this state of affairs and why should they keep 'schtum'. I'm not attacking you personally but I find your opinion on this unfathomable and frankly puerile.

Good news, hopefully.

Not being an FM player, I have to confess to not having heard of him before our link so I look forward to seeing him in action.

Timmy Jimmy,

You have not put a negative post here, you have simply told it as it is, you are quite correct, in my humble opinion, we need at least three players, possibly four, one, maybe two Central defenders if Samba leaves, a pretty decent striker and a pacy winger, with those and what we have, we may have a chance, I will reserve judgement on this as Goodwillie, Formica, Rochina, Petrovic and maybe if the winger from Greece signs, are unproven in the premier League, chances are one or two will come off but to expect all five is being over optimistic.

I saw the sunday suppliment programme on sky. Basically they said Rovers are in a mess. Which is what others have said on here for a long time - who then received the doom merchants tag. The only hope is either Rovers shore up the defence, get a decent striker, the new players settle down and adapt very very quickly to the prem and either Kean or preferable somebody else, is able to get the best out of the players we have.

Sadly I see a struggle this season. If Samba goes, then relegation. I dread Samba being injured, as he is at the moment. Rovers need another central defender.

seams great things or expected of this guy. well by kean anyway, i cant help but notice that we could have 3 outfield players(this guy, Samba,Nzonzi) over 6f4in which is a real asset to the team. BFS would be having wet dreams about this
