I posted after the Sheffield Wednesday game that this lad looked very slow, compared to Jason Lowe who made extremely quick passes and showed much enthusiasm for the game, I am really wondering who is setting up these transfer targets!

Petrovic needs time to adjust to the pl,Vidic looked awful in his first 6 months, been in the country for what 2 weeks? Astonishing how quickly we write off our players. Formica could not pass a ball according to some who saw reserve games last year!

Anyone remember JJ last year in his first 6 games?

new league needs to adjust, have to wait and see as people said, would have liked to have seen an impact but he are buying player on the cheap and probably have to adapt not hit ground running.

I think he deserves time to settle, his pedigree seems ok. Kean has ripped the squad apart and is now letting Emerton go, this is the real issue (amongst countless others)

That's my major worry. Formica has taken six months to come to terms with the Premier League. If the summer signings take that long to get up to speed I dread to think where we will be come Christmas. We needed proven Premier League quality but clearly don't have the money to buy those sort of players.

I have faith that we have just about enough experience in our squad to allow the new signings to settle in.we do however need someone who is going to score 10 plus league goals for us otherwise it will be a long season.

I can appreciate needs to get up to speed that's fine, I can't however swallow the fact he could be getting quicker in the reserves and that mf and rr could be playing instead.

He looked well of tue pace and out of his depth, Jj took a couple of games to get in it, rado has had 2.5 and isn't showing much sign of improvement...
