He needs a lot of time on the ball or he does almost nothing, which he will never get in the PL and he is so slow that he can't tackle and can't pass under pressure and has a poor centre of balance.

He'd probably be batter in a slower league, because he is very slow.

Even great players like Veron that needed a slow pace and space struggled in this league.

Think he could be in real trouble and we really needed this guy to be good and NOW.

I'm not so sure about that, you cant skimp money on a player in this position and he is not a patch on JJ.

I was happy as hell when Jermaine Jones showed his true potential and then got into thinking we may sign him on a perm contract only to end up with this guy feels like I have got on television only to find out it's the price is right show.

Rubbish. No balence, no pace, no vision, no poise. So out of his depth that I don't think 3 years in the reserves will improve him. Clearly the scout who spotted him spotted Goulon.

Yep, and Kean routinely uses this as a positive in his post-match interviews. On Sky earlier the first thing he came out with after being asked about the fans turning on him was "we've got a good group of young players coming through..." as if that has any bearing at all on the situation. If anything it makes it worse. Sick of Kean and his lying and his spinning. The most wretched manager we've ever had.

Petrovic will never be ready by the looks of it. He doesn't know what his doing or what his job is. Maybe the issue is that noone speaks Serbian at the club? Because he just looks lost every time he plays!

Venky's really are an absolutely dismal failure.

And I got slammed for calling Petrovic a dud but he will be without any doubt whilst we have the current set-up of the team. He cannot cope with the pace and aggression of the opposition in the PL and nobody from Rovers is running into space to receive his passes.

First time I really paid any attention to Petrovic in the game and thought he was absolutely rubbish, even in the first half where we did fairly well. N'zonzi while not that great is far better than him in midfield.

I agree, we needed at least a couple of them to hit the gound running to make up for the loss of the Jones brothers alone. Dann apart none of them have. Managers ultimately live or die by the players they sign, Roy Boy and Kiddo being classic examples.

Petrovic at the moment from what i have seen is the worst player i have ever seen in a rovers top, he slowly jogs round like a lost little boy. He has no pace, he cant tackle, cant pass a ball,alway gives the ball away, does not look good in the air even though he is 6 foot 4 inches tall. To cut a long story short he is not ready for the first team and dont know if he ever will be, at the moment i would welcome keith Andrews back with open arms compared to this muppet.

Even Dann was a stupid signing. We obviously needed a midfielder more than we needed a centre back. That £7.7 million should have been split between a proper defensive midfielder and a solid left back, meaning Givet could partner Samba.
