Sandiway Blue Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Partizan stating he will depart with them and become a Rovers player today I think. It is from the offical webpage and I tried to translate, but it wasnt easy. Rough translation: trović change into an eagle feather, it all counts as a new member of the Blackburn and starters from the championship structure is no longer on the list of Vladimir Petrovic Pizon. The data disappointed Dragana Djuric to the point raised his voice against the coach.

Clitherover Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I see someone's already updated wiki with him being a Rovers player. Petrovic wiki
Hughesy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Hope it is today.....will give him a few days training with the lads.
alexanders Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 FK Partizan official site have removed him from their squad. Squad
Give 'Em the Axe Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Yeah, I cannot wait for this one to be confirmed. I've done the 'Sven' and checked out all I could on youtube. I'll not be able to get properly excited until we see him holding up the shirt. N'Nonzi, Petrovic and (dream land) Jermaine 'GI' Jones on loan would be just cracking!
pancini Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Perhaps Rovers have asked for his visa hearing to be held at same court as Kean so we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone
philipl Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Hope it is today.....will give him a few days training with the lads. Russia v Serbia, 16:00 on Wednesday
alexanders Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Russia v Serbia, 16:00 on Wednesday Has he been named for it?
philipl Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Has he been named for it? Hope so if he is to get a Work Permit as a current international. More to the point, all the international friendlies this week must mean that for quite a few players, pre-season preparation with Rovers is now in effect complete.
American Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I assume this means the Nico deal will be completed today as well?
alexanders Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 MGP is in the Norwegian squad. Radosav Petrovic in the squad called up for the game against Russia.
Al Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Apparently he has not played enough international matches for his country to receive approval to play in the UK immediately. A new meeting is scheduled next week where hopefully he will receive this approval. According to Wiki he has played 18 times in the last 3 years. 5 of them this year. Couldn't have done much more than that really.

More to the point, all the international friendlies this week must mean that for quite a few players, pre-season preparation with Rovers is now in effect complete. I can see some clubs kicking off when\if their players get injured. Ridiculous timing for a friendly.
BigUts Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Indeed. We all know how well FIFA is run..,how could they ever make such a cock-up!
Kamy100 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 From what I am told the work permit hearing is tomorrow so this deal has not been finalised yet.
alexanders Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 From what I am told the work permit hearing is tomorrow so this deal has not been finalised yet. IF its only the WP hearing left I honestly can't see any problems. He was named in the squad for the friendly against Russia and has more national caps than Zoran Tosic when he joined United.
roversfan99 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 If thats all that needs to be done, surely the deal could be wrapped up tomorrow?
alexanders Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Hope he is raring to go and have been discplined during the waiting period.
Exiled_Rover Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 IF its only the WP hearing left I honestly can't see any problems. He was named in the squad for the friendly against Russia and has more national caps than Zoran Tosic when he joined United. Ah but Tosic was joining United. Different set of rules when they're involved.
Backroom Tom Posted August 8, 2011 Backroom Posted August 8, 2011 Ah but Tosic was joining United. Different set of rules when they're involved. Not quite true, they have been denied work permits in the past (can't remember who it was) and we have been pretty successful in our past appeals.
alexanders Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Not quite true, they have been denied work permits in the past (can't remember who it was) and we have been pretty successful in our past appeals. Apparently Adem Ljalic. Who was suppose to come together with Zoran Tosic, but instead went to Viola (Fiorentina) a year later.
dubdubdub Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 How many international games is it you need for a work permit? If it's twenty then surely they'll let him in considering his age and considering he's playing the day after his hearing.
Kelbo Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 How many international games is it you need for a work permit? If it's twenty then surely they'll let him in considering his age and considering he's playing the day after his hearing. Its not how many games, its a percentage (75%) of games in the last two years I think. Not quite true, they have been denied work permits in the past (can't remember who it was) and we have been pretty successful in our past appeals. Yes, but we had people appealing who knew how to do it correctly, (Freidel was one who we appealed against)
