dubdubdub Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Its not how many games, its a percentage (75%) of games in the last two years I think. Ahh cheers. Anybody fancy working this out so I don't get sacked?

dubdubdub Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Eleven games in the past year...twelve on Wednesday. If you double that for two years (I know this may not be correct) then he should be alright.
A cup of beans Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Apparently Adem Ljalic. Who was suppose to come together with Zoran Tosic, but instead went to Viola (Fiorentina) a year later. Adem Ljalic is a great prospect. impressed last season. petrovic is a fine talent too.
Kamy100 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 LT reports that today is d-day for Petrovic. Kean is going to London for the work permit hearing. Petrovic will not be at the hearing due to being on International duty. Petrovic does not automatically qualify for a work permit due to not having played 70% of internationals over the last 2 years. However, Rovers are confident that they will secure a work permit.

BiggusLaddus Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Have things become now relaxed now? I thought it used to be an automatic pass or fail at the first request, with no discretion shown unless there is an appeal.
Taggart Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Have things become now relaxed now? I thought it used to be an automatic pass or fail at the first request, with no discretion shown unless there is an appeal. i think this is the appeal buddy - hence why it has taken so long, and kean having to go down to the land of the riots to justify it ! hopefully the hearing goes ahead what with all the trouble down there

Kean, I imagine will be armed with a statement from the Serbian team coach stating that Petrovic is now an established member of the Serbian national side who will at the age of 22 play for the national team for many years.

dubdubdub Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Hopefully it'll help that he's in the squad tomorrow. He can't be far off having played 70% of games either.
Hughesy Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Yeah it also said he has appeared 19 times for them since 2009.....so only just misses out on the 70 or 75% rule. He is now seen as a key player in the full squad so that % should only increase over time now. Hope we hear today if he passed or not, dont want to have to wait till thursday/ friday when the player is free from international duty.
Blueboy Downunder Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 don't suppose anybody knows what time the hearing is at or by what time we will know?
alexanders Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Radosav Petrovic definitely going to Blackburn! Former Partizan midfielder still got a British work permit, which was confirmed by the Secretary General of the black and white Darko Grubor.
Nelsta Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Good good, looking forward to seeing this lad play.
Hughesy Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Happy if complete! Looks a tidy little player, and much rather we take a £2.5-3m gamble than spend £10m on JJ.

heysham rover Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 He looks like he needs a good feed from that picture
