roversfanben Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Strange considering all the reports indicate that he is to have his medical tomorrow Please tell me you are kidding? It's a fake account, mocking the real roverinsider, the guys posting these tweets on here know this and are making fun of him, too.

Atomicrover Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I don't think being accused of rape, which is then dropped, is grounds for then being mocked as having an STD
roversfanben Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I don't think being accused of rape, which is then dropped, is grounds for then being mocked as having an STD I don't think the guy is mocking Goodwillie. He is mocking roverinsider, since he posts BS 90% of the time.
rover-till-the-end Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Please tell me you are kidding? It's a fake account, mocking the real roverinsider, the guys posting these tweets on here know this and are making fun of him, too. Hence pointing out the medical is tomorrow apparently. Could be the "real" roverinsider for all I care but until the club offically anounce something I´ll take everything with a pinch of salt.
John Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Just chatted to Dundee Utd fan, rates Goody very highly and thinks we are getting him at a good price.
philipl Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Here's hoping he's Charlie Adam and not Kris Boyd.
braddock Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Here's hoping he's Charlie Adam and not Kris Boyd. He's David Goodwille. Keep up.
donnermeat Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I don't think we can do much wrong with this deal to be honest. Relatively cheap so if he succeeds then great and if he doesn't I think we could easily recoup most of our money from an SPL team.
rogerjonesgloves Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Here's hoping he's Charlie Adam and not Kris Boyd. He could be a dirty psycho. Kris Boyd a goal every 2 and a bit goals in international football.
Hekla Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I think Goodwillie can reach 10 goals in his first season, that is my prediction.
Kelbo Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I don't think we can do much wrong with this deal to be honest. Relatively cheap so if he succeeds then great and if he doesn't I think we could easily recoup most of our money from an SPL team. I would agree with that, however we do need a proven goalscorer, desperately!!

roverandout Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 wow, kelbo is the only one on here who shares my sentiments.
donnermeat Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 wow, kelbo is the only one on here who shares my sentiments. Not true, we all know we need and want a proven goalscorer (I never said otherwise). Just is it possible with our budget?
Ruaney Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 wow, kelbo is the only one on here who shares my sentiments. I agree too, I actually think Goodwillie will turn out to be a good bit of business but we definitely need to bring a proven goalscorer in as well! Time will only tell whether or not we will...
CaliRoverNYC Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Very talented, but a complete mess off the field as I understand it.
LeChuck Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Wasn't bothered about him at first but the universal praise north of the border is exciting. It sounds like his style of play would make him an instant favourite. Certainly sounds more built for the PL than Kalinic.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Ticks all the right boxes, fingers crossed for the medical and unveiling. Hopefully the Serbian lad will sign tomorrow too, then we just need another striker and a defender...
JAL Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I would agree with that, however we do need a proven goalscorer, desperately!! ..........and a centre half or two maybe.
67splitscreen Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 The DU fans rate him as one of their best in over 50 years according to some, even better tha Gally at a similar age. Anyhow I was looking at Fletcher's goal stats in the prem as the rate him much better also. First season 8 in 31 games at Wolves last season 10 in 15 games. Give the lad time to settle in and I'd be happy with a similar return to Fletchers stats for last season.

Hopefully the Serbian lad will sign tomorrow too, then we just need another striker and a defender... I'd like to see 2 more strikers and a defender but that will probably just be wishful thinking! haha
niggit Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Just reading what Dundee fans say. Although not tall, seems to be well built and not bullied off the ball.
chris Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Very talented, but a complete mess off the field as I understand it. yeah its worrying I read about some of the things he has done and sounds naughty. Home he's ok in the dressing room. Nasty people are ok when there you mate, but if they turn on you you wish you didn't know them, no different in football. not too difficult to make a dressing room uncomfortable. I'd imagine the likes of Samba and Nelsen could squash him ,so hopefully they keep him in check.
keaney23 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 "Dundee Utd prove there is life after Goodwillie." Best quote ever! Coming after the Dundee 1-0 win today.
