Why do people constantly just choose to accept the information that suits their agenda?

For those who hate Venkys...the player's gone, we're buggered and relegated.

For those who have some respect left...it's all just bull and he could've signed.

He could be on his way to KFC or for a deep fried burger for all we know.

So where do I stand, I hate Venkys with a vengeance and have stated I agree with Ben and the player has signed a four year deal?

I am sorry for my stance on our owners but in my honest opinion, they have damaged our club more than I could have ever imagined!!

This nonsense makes you long for the days when the first you knew of Rovers news was the Lancashire Evening Telegraph dropping through your letterbox at about 5pm.

probably after wait for the day after now anyway since my bloody lancashire telegraph drops through my door at 7am lol.

p.s shouldn't somebody fix the incorrect spelling of our imminent new signings name in the thread title lol

Why the fu#k should we have to rely on a rangers result to sign a player, how far have we sunk.

There are quite a few people in Scotland who would give their right arm to play for Rangers. I don't think Blackburn has the same affect(!) (not to say I don't think it would be better for him here).

Maybe this could be made into a short stage play.

Goodwille is sat in a car whilst people run around the car waving their arms, screaming and jumping off the stage to represent BRFCS members. We could even have Philip stood on a pulpit

With Petrovic work permit due to go through either today or tomorrow, does no one think that maybe they will be announced together as a sort if statement if intent?

maybe we should announce Hoilett's contract renewal then too, cos that's the big one i'm waiting for

SSN say he will complete his 2nd part of the medical tomorrow and Dundee united have rejected a 6th and a 7th bid from Rangers.

A 2 day medical for someone who apparently has a history of being rarely injured? I don't know much/anything about medicals - but is a 2 day one common?

I seem to remember that Downing had a 2-part medical at Liverpool but don't think it lasted 2 days?

I agree with Neal maybe we are announcing Petrovic and Goodwillie at the same time?

CryerRovers Andrew Cryer

If Rangers lose to Malmo tmrw night they wdn't be able to afford him any way. I think that is what they are waiting for

Come on Malmo :rover:

As a fan of IFK Göteborg, tomorrow will be one of the very, very, very few occasions in my life where I'll be cheering for MFF.

Can't believe all the mither with this on here, anyone would think we were on the verge of signing Messi.

I'm not that fussed if he signs or not to be honest, seems like folk just want a signing, no matter who it is

Well Andy cryer is tweeting saying he's passed his medical and due to sign tomorrow. Sky sports on the other hand are saying he has the 2nd part of his medical tomorrow.... Who to believe?

Good job we aren't signing Messi for £50m, how long would that medical take.

Nobody seems to know the truth or is there even one! Wonder if every signing will be this difficult to do? Rochina took few weeks and Formica reminded Goodwillie´s case. Pavone was almost done before owners decided against. Petrovic´s case isn´t anyones fault if it is the work permit which stalls things.

Anyone think he's just stalling for a move to Rangers?

beginning to think so but a person sayings it's all done, another saying a 2nd day medical??? another saying he is stalling for Rangers.

look i can understand the whole champions league thing, if rangers qualify and he'd rather join them (a la Phil Jones) to do that, then good luck to him.

but it seems Dundee Utd don't want to sell him to Rangers, the Scotland manager has advised him that playing in the English premiership will see him develop better as aplayer because the defences are meaner, the pace is higher and the challenges are far beyond a world the old firm could ever imagine.

If he does join Rangers over any English Premiership club (not just us) he will make the biggest mistake of his career.

I am not going to get too concerned about it to be honest because again it’s another Kalinic, Formica, Rochina situation bar the language barrier (sort of ) he’s going to take time to settle in, know his team mates, know his surroundings, find a home ( he can have mine I’m selling, not too far from Ewood, Blackburn, Brockhall and my next door neighbour is from Fife PERFECT), and get into a groove of proving himself.

If he signs. Is he is going to be expected to pick up where he left off in Scotland by us Rovers fans. Is he going to be expected to lead the line, is he our main striker???
