Primary reason is to antagonise certain people, would for example work on you as you've just shown you're a biter. And all I'm saying is I haven't written them off yet. Is it so wrong not to have written them off yet and wait until we see some of the season? I'll criticise them when they mess up, but I'm not going to write them off completely yet, by a long way.

Well to be honest it tends to be conjecture that we hear on here as the things are happening (how many insiders have we had?), so it becomes pointless being so reactionary. Patience is required. I'd have thought Blackburn fans would be used to that by now. Unfortunately all you seem to get is randomers who can't spell (and I don't mean typos which happen to everyone) and the doom and gloom merchants coming out with 'if this is true then ', and worse still 'a source of mine is saying that...' followed by what later turns out not to be true, whenever there is any period of slight uncertainty - and when have we ever known exactly what was happening?

Venky's made mistakes of course but I genuinely believe that they get a much harder time than they deserve because of bad PR, the timing (but not the act) of Allardyce's sacking, a slow window (which is hardly surprising given that it's their first attempt at running a club) and general frustration about the lack of control the fans seem to have. Now it's certainly a tightrope to have newcomers running the show and I can understand people being nervous, but I've seen enough positive signs not to start shouting the odds or adding to the conjecture. I'm excited for the new season.

And that isn't me having a go at you, I'm just explaining my actions. It does amuse me that me not being as negative as some annoys others though, which is great for me is I'm quite upbeat and get even more upbeat and the doom and gloomers appear to find something else to moan about whenever they see the optimism. I guess certain people just feed off their own general mood sometimes.

We have sold £20 million pound worth of player and brought in £3 million to a relegation squad with a rookie manager. I an not interested in Venky's marketing, Mrs Desai's naievty, Bilaj's marquees or anything else at this stage, I just want to see our squad improved.

Net negative spends and no capital investment from the owners year on year lead to a fall down the table- the last few years of the Trust made that clear, why more of the same means we should be praising the Rao's is beyond me.
