67splitscreen Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Can't believe this has made almost 70 pages. We're desperate to sign him, aren't we? There's more to it than meets the eye, it's all in the avatar.
niggit Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 You haven't seen the Rangers forums - 500 pages and counting. Desperation isn't the word. Can tell, all the stuff they are putting about us, sore losers spring to mind. One of those moments you want to add a comment. But then why get like them, some of the worst supporters of a football club.
greggyk Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I would suggest the Rangers fan could be correct, Rangers are obviously getting encouragement from somewhere to keep bidding.. Or more as suggested by others a while back, Rovers have nobody in place to actually complete the formalities on our side...
SAS Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Don't understand why it's not been confirmed. Most clubs swoop and sign a player within 48 hours..

There also stories about a big argument taking place between Rangers and Dundee yesterday evening. Dundee seem fed up with Rangers stupid bidding strategy. They have put 7 bids in!! I think as someone mentioned earlier that Rangers are only trying to show there supporters that they have finances because the new chairman or something have been called cheap and not willing to pay up and become unpopular amongst Rangers fans. A deluded bunch.
rebelmswar Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Don't understand why it's not been confirmed. Most clubs swoop and sign a player within 48 hours.. This is more like a spiraling glide than a swoop.
alexanders Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Don't understand why it's not been confirmed. Most clubs swoop and sign a player within 48 hours.. I think these things take more than we know. I read earlier about John Carew. His negotiations, medical etc have taken over a week.
67splitscreen Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Gunning joining DU as part of the deal is probably slowing down confirmation, he only arrived up there this afternoon.
SuperCat Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Goodwille ohhh Goodwille ohhh We signed him from Dundee (must be loads of lines to put here, maybe someone with more wit than me can finish off) He nearly cost us 3
XLM Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I much prefer the... He's big, he's hard, he'll score from 30 yard, It's Goodwillie, it's Goodwillie From a vast number of pages back.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Rovers have nobody in place to actually complete the formalities on our side... It really, really, wouldn't surprise me.
braddock Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It really, really, wouldn't surprise me. Doesn't make it fact though. Chill people, he's signing. If not I'll leave the board.
Pitty Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I think it might be due to us needing nikos transfer fee holding up the deal, just a thought?

Bob Dewhurst Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It's "he'll shoot from 20 yards"!! 30 yards is a tad optimistic

roversfanben Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I haven't spoken with my contact today, so don't ask what the hold up is! I have no idea, it was supposed to be done by 4pm. It's going to happen today, and when it does halle-lujah. I am 100% confident that those of you who doubt this kid will be majorly surprised, he will score 15 goals next season, if he doesn't I'll wear a Burnley shirt and post pics of it on here!

I'M going to believe Ben in this though. He's been spot on so far.
