For older supporters, anyone come up with a variant on World Cup Willie?

Brilliant idea; it could have been written with this sort of adaptation in mind:

"Wearing white and blue; Dave Goodwillie;

We all love him too; Dave Goodwillie.

He's strong as a lion and never will give up, . . ."

Sorry; er, "inspiration" has just dried up! ;)

I have a sense of humour and am hardly a prude but what a vile chant.

+2?? As Danny Glover would say "I'm too old for this sh**"

Vile? On what basis?

Look, I know no one would ever sing it, it's too slow and has "too many words" it was just a joke after hearing the song and realising 'Just-be-Good-To-Me" scans well when replaced by "Da-vid-Good-willie" and the original lyrics leant themselves to the rest.

At the end of the day, the only chants Rovers fans will singing is sonmething ultra cliched like "Goodwillie, ohhh ohhhhh" or "Goodwillie, Goodwillie, David Goodwillie, he gets the ball and scores a goal, David Goodwillie" so my efforts are purely in jest rather than serious chant suggestions.

You seem to quote him a lot Philip - do you believe he has good contacts within the club? His form seems a little erratic.

His form is erratic and I highlight the bits I agree with and those I disagree with.

Just posted that for interest not least the extended period over which his medical lasted.

Potentially bad news if he is not going to be able to last 95 mins in the PL for a while.

This has just been added:

GOODWILLIE...club don't expect him to be main striker this year and expect to sign a main striker before season. #Rovers

Played two Europa games and 1 SPL game, i saw him play in the home Europa game seemed fit to me, he does look unfit but that because hes got a bit of a Wayne Rooney build, if you know what i mean.

He said "with".

Stop being a weiner.

Sorry my mistake the "with" changes the whole context of the sentence- obviously.

You missed the part where I said IMO, I'm not enforcing my opinion on anyone just the way I feel... or do I need your permission?

What makes you think I missed the part where you said it was your opinion?

It just so happens I think your opinion is b*llocks.
