One thing I think we can look forwards to from Goodwillie is that he will defend from the front when we are without possession. His ability to run the 12 miles of chasing lost causes needed every match which a Rovers forward will need to do this season could be the question mark over his fitness.

I actually think you will physically implode if we have a stress free mid table season this season Phil. We can add it to you list of classics then, remember them.... Alonso, man united, middlesboro, syed.... The list continues.

One of the BBC's Scottish reporters on "Final Score" on the red button has just been giving Goodwillie a rave review. "Very strong; rarely gets injured, good goal-scoring record, etc., etc."

I hope he's better than miller!! Just watching him for Cardiff and seems very average for someone who scored so many goals in Scotland.

News: Rangers target Matt McKay was impressed by what he saw of the club during a guided tour of Murray Park over the weekend and his agent insists negotiations over a deal are very much on track.

Seriously - Can players have a guided tour of the club while negotiations / medical etc are on?????

Why not, as long as the clubs have agreed fee's.

The negotitations I assume refere to those between the player and Rangers.

Showing him around the facilities is all part of selling the club to the player.

No. Given sections of the Dundee United support chanted that after the rape charges were dropped against D. Goodwillie, I think it would be tasteless in the extreme. Chances are that the fellow himself wouldn't appreciate it either, given he's apparently looking to make a clean break from his troubles in Scotland.

Exactly what we did with Goodwillie and because of the ITK, twitter specialists etc there where mass hysteria on this MB that the deal was falling apart. Sums up the summer.
