yes I know, but they still drop snippets of info to people like philip who then post guarded comments on here.

Said it before and will again,

About time some people grew some ###### and spilled the beans

I can totally understand people not being able to spill all they have heard, it's nothing to do with balls, as you put it. I am not going to jump and and down and stamp my feet saying "Tell me, tell me, tell me".

The club has been run incredibly poorly since Jan, everyone can see that, with everything in the public domain.

People share snippets of info on the board to add pieces of the jigsaw, if you cannot get a picture of what's going on now then that's only one persons fault.....

Is anybody doubting that every single person leaving Rovers did so with a gagging agreement?

So that means we have to be very careful in terms of impacting those individuals

Is anybody doubting that the existing staff are subject to mole hunts?

So that means we have to be careful about Rovers' employees livelihoods

Is anybody doubting that the Venky's could set a lawyer onto this website and that lawyers' letters tend to be more extreme and threatening the closer you get to the truth?

So that means we have to be careful about the wonderful people who host and administer this web site.

And I haven't said anything about the i word in this post.

Sorry but this doesn't say anything. Pure sophistry.

You put a question mark so I assume you want an answer,

getting closer to the truth makes life harder does it?

If its the truth then there is no comback legally

Only one way to deal with a dictatorship, face up to it

and I don't mean on this board per se

So if you had the info, you'd say to hell with my friends and all those involved and just get it out there without a care to those involved and the implications on them?

Didn't say that at all.

Philipl and his usual ifs and insinuations about Venkys when the reality is most businesses work that way.

Those who have left the club are big boys on big wages and are perfectly capable of looking after themselves.

Solicitors letters are generally hot air, deal with them all the time. If people are publishing information that puts current employees at risk then Admin need to jump on it.

So why was everyone (IE multi million pound papers, with great legal teams) reluctant to name and shame Giggs if they are just hot air?

Surely they had nothing to fear?

Football isn't a normal business people need to realise this, you get on in football by who you know, not what you know. And if you lose all your contacts, where do you reckon you end up? Loyalty is a big word in football and a trait you must display to make a living out of it. The second people think you can't be trusted your gone for good and good luck finding a career of decent quality as coaching football is hardly a transferable skill.

I think you may be mixing up loyalty and honesty

If the Giggs saga has taught us one thing, it’s that you can release whatever information you like on twitter, no legal team or group can sue thousands of people talking about issues concerning Blackburn Rovers or Venkys.

Releasing information on here is a different matter.

Someone get the man of Straw to blurt it all out in parliament...

Is it not easier to identify the owners/users of a site such as this?

Is it likely that the owners of this site can fall back on the legal protection that Twitter can attract/afford?

Of course the other option is that if you can't post the "facts" for fear of legal action then stop posting teasers about what the latest fiasco/doom scenario might be, creating a stir and then saying you can't post the "facts" for fear of legal action.

Giggs had an injunction in place, different scenario.

Football isa normal business and people will realise this and loyalty is just a word in football, otherwise players would honour their contracts, managers wouldn't be sacked etc.

Psrdew gets jobs, Alan Ball got jobs, Brian Laws gets jobs. Couldn't trust them with an under 12s team.

Obviously I should bow to your immense experience of working in the game.

PS why do you say you couldn't trust the afore mentioned with an under 12's team?

You know nothing about me, so how can you make that statement?

Because they they are crap managers but they still get highly paid jobs in football. Except for AB of course.

All I can say is I am glad I know nothing about you, lets ensure it stays that way.

I take it you put your money where your mouth is to call them crap managers? As they seem to have done alright for themselves to me.

No need to get personal.

That doesn't make sense,

So Alan Ball did well as a manager.

He managed 6 clubs, brought through some good kids at Exeter and did well at southampton, and who could forget what he did at Pompey, first time round.

Anyway thanks for letting me know you really don't know a lot about football, its appreciated.

How right you are.

Ball's record is atrocious.

I'd question your ability to read. Let alone football knowledge.

Once again, this is getting personal.

It seems we are in a catch 22 situation.

For those of you 'in the know', you must understand that by hinting at an almighty problem in the club, but giving no further information, you have to expect 'anger at source'.

I have no idea what the big secret is, but I find the "I know something you don't know" and "share it or shut up" cycle counter-productive and as harmful to the team as any mis-management.

Somehow, the truth (whatever it is or is not) will out.

Come the weekend, the team will need our support and divided fans will only make for a poor atmosphere at Ewood.
