Well basically pick the best player. The player you think is the most valuable in the league. Once you pick him no one else can. He will be yours to own and trade is you so wish.

Eddie - do you think we will be able to get all 400 picks in on the forum? I just worry people won't be checking the thread often enough and this could take weeks. What do you think?

If people start picking then we'll be ok, but it needs to start happening soon and then everyone just needs to have a general idea of when their turn would come up and would have to check in a couple of times a day.

Well the picking hasn't officially started, but I'll give BRST a until 6PM in the UK to get the first pick underway and if not we will move him to the back and get it going. If you're in the league then keep checking in and let's get the picking underway. Once it is going it should move along quite quickly.

I'm afraid that I got it wrong in that BRST actually has the number 1 pick, but so long as he doesn't want Aguero that pick will stand. Just have to wait him to see this and I have just sent him a PM.

Looks like it's struggling, pretty hard to get the draft done when so many only visit once a day.

we could simplify it to try and make it work

everybody just picks 11 players instead of 20

everybody posts on here say 50 players in order that they want them.

eddie goes through the list according to the random draw order.

you get your highest pick that is available

example:

my list is 1. aguerro, 2. rooney, 3.silva

people above me in the list have already selected aguerro and rooney, so my first allocated player is silva

and so on

should solve the problem of people only visiting once a day

Edit: perhaps selections should be Pm'd or e-mailed to eddie to avoid copying

We can do it that way. Seems like there are still a decent number who are interested and paying attention, but a few just aren't checking out the topic and replying.

i actually think it would be easier to organise if we agreed on a single formation and everybody stuck to that... maybe 442? what do you think?
