Mike Graham
Did anyone notice that every one of the boxes (bar the Thwaites one in the corner) was empty today, I have never seen this before at Ewood. I did hear from the Club a few weeks ago that they were having real problems getting the corporates to return but I did not realise it was so bad. Mc Love
Performances on the pitch does that! If a team isnt performing, why would you bother shelling out for a box?

Perhaps we could give them all to charity? Thanks for the info.

Its worrying stuff PB, coupled with the non financial sponsorship deal and loss of season ticket holders we appear to be hemorrhaging money left, right and centre

Mike Graham
Yep, well and truly in the kak. All the signs were there today: 3000+ ST holders down (thank god it was Wolves, I dread to think what our gates will be against Fulham, Wigan, QPR etc) Corporate fans gone. Clueless manager, no sponsors and owners hated by 90% of the fans.

Clueless manager, no sponsors and owners hated by 90% of the fans. Where do you get your 90% figure from. Maybe the fact that we don't have as many corporate fans is that, like everyone else, companies are having to tighten their belts. Maybe we need to consider how much we are charging for boxes? Mike Graham
90% + of the fans that I speak with week after week.
Uddersfelt Blue
90% + of the fans that I speak with week after week. Well we better get used to them being our owners because I don't see anyone else wanting to buy us. The one's to blame for our current situation are those who sold the Club without fully considering that this would not be in line with what JW would have wanted
Mattyblue
From Marple Leaf: 'Customers in the corporate areas have dropped off, the Clayton Douglas lounge - which is for the shirt sponsor and the match sponsor - wasn't open today. Indeed the match sponsor was Sportfive the sales agency tasked with selling such deals. I saw one director there today - Bob Coar. There were the executives, sure, but there is no board to host the visiting directors any more. There was no one present from India. For the opening day of the season that is disgraceful.' Now I'm no corporate bod, but that sound svery worrying to me?

roversmum
I was looking at corporate prices for a birthday treat for a family member, but the prices have gone up and are way beyond what I could afford
JohnD
Maybe we need to consider how much we are charging for boxes? Yes they are charging too much and prefer them to be empty rather than reduce their prices. The club has always had a second division back office, even in Jacks days.
