i would've thought emerton would play at centre back, if we can manage not to concede a shed load of goals, i think we'll have enough in attack to see us through

it does show how much we need a centre back though

Robinson, Salgado, Olsson, Emerton, Dunn, Formica, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Hoilett, Roberts, Hanley Subs: Bunn, Rochnia, Blackman, Goodwillie, Bruno, Anderson, Henley

Right...so...errr...

.................... Robinson

Salgado N'Zonzi Hanley Olsson

Emerton Dunn Pedersen Hoilett

.................... Formica

.................... Roberts

I'd guess.

Where the hell is Grella? I thought he was ok to play? We desperately need a defensive midfielder in there. I'd have been tempted to put Salgado in there just for his battling qualities.

Roberts?

At this time we must show faith in Hanley and hope N'Zonzi shows some grit and character to step into centre back. Good luck to them both, must be the most inexperienced centre back partnership we've had ever. Is that a show of what has happened this summer?

Can only imagine it's N'Zonzi at centre half with Hanley? Inexcusable that we're down to those two when Phil Jones left, what, 6 weeks ago?

Not too worry. As everyone said, September is the time to judge our transfer activity

got to pray that N'Zonzi can provide decent cover at centre half. Can't for the life of me understand why Anderson has been preferred on the bench to some others.

Got to hope that Grella is indeed injured because if he's been left out that's ridiculous. He's always injured but when he's fit even he could stroll into that team and I wonder if the leaked list of sellable players that included him has spelled the end of his career at Rovers. Sure, let's sell him but in the meantime if he's fit he could still do a job.

Just got back from holiday, made it to the match and can't get my head around the team on the screen. Please prove me wrong and get a result rovers. If not then I hope it gets some changes happening.

Maybe Salgado is anchoring midfield with Emerton RB and Dunn right-wing?

But to be fair I really haven't got a clue.

We are missing THREE first choice cb missing, yes we need a centre half but take that out of any club and they will struggle.

Let's pray Nzonzi steps up as well as Harley, scary looking team.

What an atrocious situation - We are going to throw away three points today purely due to the fact we have not signed players in time. Ridiculous.

This sums up my feelings.

Time to judge is 1st Sept is it?

Well right now we're left with a 19 year old liability at CB playing alongside either a small fullback or a defensive midfielder.

Anderson shouldn't even be playing for the reserves, nevermind on the bench in the Premier League.

I just pray that we're lucky today and get away with it - imagine that line up vs Man U, Chelsea or City :(

###### Kean knew the situation, and now that Givet is injured, we are looking vulnerable. I can only imagine the excuses he is going to make after the game. How long ago has P Jones left the club? the nerve to not replace him, is now making us look foolish.

We will certainly see today if Kean is a 'lucky' manager.

your last sentence is just plain stupid.

if we lose then Kean is a bad manager and its a bad selection. If kean wins then it is lucky? give him the credit he derserve IF we manage to win today. FFS. stop. if we win then admit he got his selection correct. if it's a draw then its up to people what to think and see how we played.

I predict we will score at least 3 goals in this game, not sure if that will be enough but there should, at least, be entertainment

As I said earlier, Roberts double hat trick.
