jim mk2 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Negatives: 1. N'zonzi and Henley are a joke as a centre half pairing 2. We look like conceding every time Wolves go forward 3. This is a relegation team 4. The ground looks empty 5. Agony not being at Ewood today Positives: 1. We're not losing - yet

Rover Down Under Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 +: Roberts causing Wolves a lot of problems, Peders crossing is much improved, Formica looking dangerous (wish Dunn would pass to him more). -: Dodgy at the back, Salgado a bit suspect, ref is crap (no surprises there) Would like to see Goodwillie in 2nd half. Rochina on for Emerton.
Hekla Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Anybody would think that we are losing 5-1 or something, we took the lead so we can take it again.
BPF Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 What the (Please don't use that word again) is it with us and the start of the 2nd half!?
Rover Down Under Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Great, pen to Wolves, can't even wait till the 47th min.
Rover Down Under Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Desperately unlucky, great pen save from Robbo. Test of character now, something we will need a lot of this season.
rover-till-the-end Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Size of the squad is pathetic. I just can´t see how the team can pull this back.
BPF Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 you had to ? It's sad that we are that predictable these days.
Eddie Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Salgado is by far that worst player on that pitch. Living entirely on past glories. Too slow. Too clumsy. It was his poor defending that resulted in the first goal and his idiotic tackle that lead to the second.
PAFELL Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 ###### joke Welcome to the start of a very very long season. I think we will come back in this game.
ElTwis Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Lets look at it this way. Our first choice 11 has two different CB and probably two different CM. Add to that the potential new striker and it's not great at Ewood today but it's only going to get better. Come on the Rovers!
kevinyip Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 If we can't win Wolves (which is almost relegated for Wolves last season) at home, then how can we survive?
niggit Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Was looking forward to today, now I'm hoping for a draw!
mattyc2422 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Struggling for creativity quote a bit. Don't think our bench can help us much, but I'd like to see Goodwillie on.
Oklahoma Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 What a poor first team!! We already have a small squad but with Nelsen, Givet and Samba missing, it is just too poor. Since we are already losing, Salgado should come out for Rochina. Emerton to play right back.
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I did warn about underestimating Wolves and the gap between the two sides aint much.
BPF Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I think Rochina needs to learn that in the Premiership he isn't going to be able to take on every player, every single time.
G Somerset Rover Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Salgado is by far that worst player on that pitch. Living entirely on past glories. Too slow. Too clumsy. It was his poor defending that resulted in the first goal and his idiotic tackle that lead to the second. BBC say that he's now given 3 away since the start of last season (the most of any player in the Prem) which backs up your point. We really need something from this game to lift the gloom around Ewood.
