Not hugely surprised and I don't think we can be after what has already gone on. But what can we do to change things?? Does the club stil hold meetings with supporters or has that stopped since the takeover?

The Fans forum meetings still go on. Sadly for the last month Paul Hunt was called away to deal with the Indian pre-season fiasco, so after twenty mins the only club rep was Greg Coar (no disrespect to Greg, he's a great guy, but only responsible for a specific area at Rovers). But to word from the club is that the club are keen for it to carry.

Truly DISGRACEFUL.

Blackburn Rovers has always been the club that is commented on for its openness in hosting visiting clubs and their dignatries, how shocking to learn that not one of the Indian owners found time to be present on the opening day. I suppose though it sort of exemplifies their misgivings in what is required to run a football club, especially one with the pride and tradition of BRFC.

Someone somehwere needs to take a grip on the running of the club because we are heading into oblivion and far faster than anyone can imagine.

I dont like the gimmicks were seeing, free pies, charity sponsors etc, it just doesnt wash. What we are seeing is the stripping of our club, the running down of a club that has been run so professionally over the years and the rubbishing of our good name.

Jack Walker must be spinning in his grave and those who were once loyal to him should hang their heads in shame.

I think alot of this has to do with the numpty agency that we appointed - thankfully they have now been fired off.

The Owners now seem to be putting more sensible plans in place, a management structure who can make decisions and also talking to the guys at Ewood, rather than some agent only interested in his money.

Our owners couldn't even complete one of these:

Yeah but they put them in place, which leads you to question their ability to make sound sensible decisions.

I fear that they are incapable of putting a proper management structure in place and will require management of BRFC at all times.

The transfer fee debarcle was not of Kentaro's making. Venky's didn't and still haven't put any money into the club to cover costs or tranfer budgets, that is very very concerning.

The problem we have is that there is NO solid business case for an Indian company primarily concerned with chickens to own a Premier League football club. There never has been, and there never will be. Some of us got all sorts of stick from people at the time Venky's were about to takeover for pointing this simple fact out, because others were too busy dreaming of the untold millions that would be spent on players, and arguing stupid things like if "1 in 100 people in India spent a pound on Rovers we'd be rich." Pie in the sky then, pie in the sky now. And, I might add, some of those dreamers did a spectacular volte-face to become some of the biggest critics now.

My hopes were briefly raised with the rumour about Venky's wanting to sell, but "wolf" has been cried that often recently I wasn't at all surprised it turned out to be untrue.

Now I've been trying to be fair to the owners (and manager) but what they have to realise is that having no business plan with a Championship club will be dramatically worse than having no business plan with a Premiership club. And what is undeniable to all at the moment is that the squad is not big enough to cope with a full campaign. So they better get their acts together and personal chequebooks out or they risk losing all of the money they paid to buy the club

Alternatively they could take a mortgage out, sell Phil Jones, Kalinic. Heck there's still time to sell Samba yet. No loss of money there then for Venky's. They could even make a few quid out of it. All risk free. And they've had some publicity out of it. And they don't even have to watch the games. What a bonus.

Let's be honest, enough of this "they're very naive", they don't actually give a damn about our football club do they? It's absolutely scandalous.

I'm very angry and concerned after reading that article, even before the article I was worried with everything going on. The most concerning part is that we as fans cannot do anything about Venky's and their dealings with the club. I have not heard anything positive out of the owners, it is all very quiet. It is destroying to see that the club is being ripped apart after all of our successes and the proud way that our club been run over the years.

what annoys me more than anything is all the lies they have told or bs whichever way you look at it.They took over and promised champions league and then they flirted with marasmackhead,touted ronny ,becks,marquee signings and then changed to 8th AND a cup win THIS season and they would spend whatever it took,sam went (GOOD)but to replace him with a frigging puppet and clueless pillock when an established manager was needed was crazy..Hughsey blames kentaro but who employed them? the lunes from pune!

like you say bob they dont give a flying about us ,free publicity(evryones heard of the venky brand now and in corfu they took the pee when the word venkys was mentioned.)

Ive not felt so bad over a defeat in a very long time .The V's need to know how much the club means to us ,we are not a plaything WE ARE BLACKBURN BLOODY ROVERS AND HAVE A LONG HISTORICAL HISTORY THATS NOW BEING TARNISHED AND THE HISTORY IS BEING RAPED BY THE VENKYS!!!!!!
