Actually Goodwillie was not found Not Guilty, the case was dropped due to "insufficient evidence in law", and there was talk of a civil case becoming a possibility.Kean is in the wrong, but the case against him as a manager of BRFC should be a footballing matter.

I think he should be sacked for being an all round shambles. Pardon the pun.

Someone showed me an article in the newspaper this morning that said Kean was driving back to his family home in the South East when he was stopped. Does this mean he drove to training/matches every day from down South - or does anyone know if he spends most of his time up here? At least now he'll be able to have a couple of cans on the long train journey to work and not worry about being pulled over.

He rents a flat up here.

Decided now that he deserves to be sacked, it's not solely the drink driving it's his attitude about it that shows him up as being dishonest and deceitful, not the man we want in charge of our club.

I am 99% sure he wont be sacked until its too late for us though, probably when we are adrift at the bottom.

Andy Cryer's comments in the LT criticising the fact that we fell apart on Saturday with only four players missing just underlines how massive a failure Steve Kean is as a manager.

If you subscibe to the theory that the LT is the voice of Ewood on earth, it also probably points to the fact Kean is right on the edge of being sacked today.

With 400 votes cast or 2.5% of the Rovers arttendance on Saturday, Kean has only 15% of the fans not saying sack now. That is 10% WORSE than the backing Ince had on the day he got sacked.

If Venky's sack him today, they will signal that they really are learning and wising up and stand a far better chance of beginning to win over the fans.

Which article in the LT, pointing towards Kean being sacked. Looked, but cannot see one - sadly.

I think the job requires the man to have some integrity and the judge all but called him a liar.

Add that to the underhand way he got the job (which the dreamers in Pune are clearly ignoring)

Add that to the fact that a DUI conviction is a serious matter and will undoubtedly impinge on his mobiity and ability to do the job

Add that to the fact he is associated with an agent the Venky's now regard with utter contempt

Add that to the fact that the biggest issue we now have is attracting players and Kean has all the attraction powers of a mess on the carpet now that he cannot use his side kick Anderson

And round off with the fact his results record is worse than Ince...

And every day that goes by without him being fired the more trouble Venky's are storing up for themselves with the fans and the more certain they will have to write off the money they put into buying Rovers down to zero.

The vast majority of supporters can see this but of course the Venky's are simply too far out of their depth to even understand the mess they are in.

I agree with all of this but the point is the poll question is "Given Steve Kean has pleaded guilty to drink driving, should he now be sacked ?" All I'm saying is that a DD conviction may not or probably cannot be used to sack him. I voted "No" on the basis of the poll question. I'm sorry to keep nagging Glenn on this but it was a very badly phrased question.

If I'm asked "Given Steve Kean has is a crap manager, should he now be sacked ?" my answer is a resounding YES. There's a difference here and much as I want Kean out of Ewood to use the DD as an excuse is wrong unless his terms of employment specifically require him to holda driving licence or to conduct himself in a manner appropriate to a family club etc. etc. We don't know the terms so calling for his dismissal on the basis of DD his wrong, IMV.

Currently I am unable to drive for health reasons, and will be in that position for 6 or 12 months, my employers simply said OK how do we work round this and have given me all the support I need. If I had a DD I would expect to be sacked but think I'd probably end up with a massive bollocking, my reputation in tatters and my employers losing the trust and faith they have in me. None of which would be very comfortable. This is the difference.

Indeed Den. The board is full of people criticising Kean for lying today yet seemingly the same people have no criticism of the Venkey mob lying to us on a regular basis since Nov10.

Lets not forget the Walker's Trust who handed the club over to these clowns.

Jack would be turning over in his grave.

This is a guess but I think its "V for Vendetta" with the masked dude.

No it was an awsome TV show from the 80's that they turned into a remake abortion.

V is for visitor as they are aliens, then it turned into victory when the aliens turned out to be vicious lizards set on world domination.

Abbey seems to think Venkeys are lizards. Being that chickens are related to dinosaurs he is pretty close, in a way.

“The ‘Fifth column’ is formed by the descendants of the Jews who in earlier centuries were converted to Christianity and seemingly held in enthusiastic manner to the religion of Christ, while in secret they preserved their Jewish belief and carried out clandestinely the Jewish rites and ceremonies. For this purpose they organized themselves into communities and secret synagogues, which were active centuries-long in secret. These apparent Christians, but secret Jews, began centuries ago to infiltrate the Christian society, in order to attempt to control it from within.

Abbeys got a secret gang to gain contrrol from within.

If we want Kean out for the way he's dragged the club into disprepute,or whether you want him out for footballing reasons(or both) can we not form some online petition?

if an e petition is started, when it gets 100k sigs' it gets debated in parliament!
