Arablackburn
Great help from everyone guys, looks like it'll either be the Blackburn End or the Blackburn End of the Jack Walker i go for. Riverside is out as i dont own a tartan rug, despite being Scottish!! Cheers!

bazza
Arablackburn, which way do you like to watch your football; to and fro or side to side? If it's side to side your choice is Jack Walker or Riverside. One good thing about Riverside is the rest of the ground looks terrific. It looks terrible on TV where the Riverside looks like a shed. Arablackburn
While you're here mate, any good chants we can adopt for Goodie? Haha....all we had was Gooooodie, Gooooodie in the form of the 'Rooney' chant at Manure. While being pretty unoriginal, when sung by the entire Utd support it sounded awesome. Short, sweet and staight to the point. Our Goodie chant near the end of this vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zxXkSFmkv8. I could name a good few songs sung by the away support over the last 6 months if u want haha!! We did have one other towards the end of his Utd career....he does what he wants, he does what he wants, David Goodwillie, he does what he wants. More dirceted at the fans who were chanting obscenities at Goodie with regards to his charge. Arablackburn, which way do you like to watch your football; to and fro or side to side? Yeah mate the view of the whole stadium from the Riverside is the main reason i wanted to sit there, as Ewood is glorious from that side of the ground, on tv it looks awful tbh. Im not fussed about side to side or to and from. Taking the missus so im thinking side to side would be a bit better. Cheers.
Stuart
As a one off, I really recommend the Jack Walker upper tier. As near to front centre as you can get. Best view in the stadium. I always head over there for the the cup matches!

thenodrog
When I went on the Ewood ground tour, I was told the stand was built that way so an ambulance could drive along it in an emergency. A scenario evisaged by no other club the length and breadth of the nation.
Arablackburn
Afternoon guys! Well, thouroughly enjoyed my first Ewood experience, although pity about the result. (and the 1st half performance). Ended up sitting in the Jack Walker lower next to the home dugout. Chose there as i wanted to get a decent view of the whole game and also thought i might get a wee chat with Goodie when he was warming up, which i did! Got him to sign my Utd cup final shirt in which he scored too, so all in pretty chuffed! Next time i'll try the Blackburn End for sure. Bought myself the new home shirt so will be proudly wearing that up here! Its really smart actually and looks far better sponsor-less!! Cheers again for all your help!! m1st
... nothing wrong with the Riverside middle either apart from a stanchion or two and that they built it 5 yards too far away from the pitch. I cannot believe the thinking on that one. Whatever pea brain sanctioned that should be strung up under one of those stanchions. When I went on the Ewood ground tour, I was told the stand was built that way so an ambulance could drive along it in an emergency. A scenario evisaged by no other club the length and breadth of the nation. Were you not at Wolves last May, Gordon? The stand in which we were sitting had a similar, albeit slightly narrower, space in front of it. Which, in addition to the reason given to rovgers, also allows disabled fans in wheelchairs and their carers to sit "with" our abled-bodied fans.
