Kean is doing his pre match press conference I wonder if he said it was done then and the Sky guy reported from there

Cryer is there, do Sky cover all pressers,Sky jumping the gun to grab a headline, possibly leaked to quell the current uprising.

Cryer seemed confident this morning it would not happen today.

Good player and good price, reminds me very much of David Ginola in terms of how he plays but also is temprement.

Something to be positive about ahead of tomorrows game and a good addition to the squad, Now lets move onto the next targets and speed up the process of getting the deals done

Any news there Glen??

I didn't get that impression from his tweet earlier. I think he meant he didn't think it would be finalised by the noon deadline for tomorrow's game. I didn't take it as meaning it definately wouldn't happen today.

BBC quotes Kean as saying "It's going to be difficult for him to be involved in [the Carling Cup] game because he has not even trained with us."

Sounds fair enough to me. Keep him rested for the weekend and let him get his head down.

Been busy with other things last couple of days,

But Sky reporting that Kean is set to fly out tonight to speak to another striker which is NOT Ibisevic

Sounds promising, but is Kean planning on not taking the team for tomorrow nights game? Won't he struggle to get anything productive done if he's to be back in the country by tomorrow evening?

Well clearly is was all-but confirmed at the conference today, but if there is a bit of red tape to get through then the club cannot officially post it. Confirmation for Sky, BBC and Jason Roberts (twitter) makes it fairly certain that this is done.

I'm happy to see Vukcevic finally signed up and ready to go. I'm hoping the manager decides to play him on Saturday against Everton - he was a good player at Sporting CP and I watched him play in the UEFA Cup last season - I believe he played 7 games and scored in 3 of them. My only issue with him is that he was a bit of a disruptive influence in the dressing room - he's had bust ups with his manager, skipped training to report to international duty and demanded a transfer in the past. That said, he seems to have calmed down over the past year so hopefully he'll work out.

There's a team coming together underneath all the nonsense that's been going on off the field. When we've finished our business in the transfer market and have a fully fit team(and possibly a new manager, but I may be askign too much!) maybe we can push forward and start our season. :)

Still waiting for work permit i think can't complete till sorted.

Thought that would be a formality as Montengro are ranked 19th in the world and he's record cap holder.

Anyone know when it's due? I can't wait to see him play, he's the most individually talented player we've bought since Bellamy.

Andy Cryer seems to think today hopefully. As you said should be a formality.
