Backroom Tom Posted August 26, 2011 Backroom Posted August 26, 2011 Yea i agree with that. Also there's a 4th REC due out in 2012. Weirdly even though quarantine was an unneeded shot for shot remake of rec for The American audience quarantine 2 is going to go in it's own direction away from Rec I think. I like the sound of that film you listed above I'll check that out Quote

In all honesty i spent more time watching Qaurantine trying to figure out where i'd seen the people before than enjoying it. It also feels at lot more staged than REC. And you should check Tucker and Dale vs Evil out.Really good film and great take on the slasher hillbillie genre. Edited August 26, 2011 by Nelsta Quote
Nelsta Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Watched attack the block last nigh. Basically aliens attack a council estate in north london, be warned though if you watched any interviews with the scum involved in the riots and wanted to beat crap out of them, then this film will wind you up something rotten. Backroom Tom Posted September 5, 2011 Backroom Posted September 5, 2011 I enjoyed it as well Abbs, I'm a sucker for 3d as it gives the cinema experience something different to watching at home. Quote
Nelsta Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I thought the end was a very clever way to end the series. Quote
Flopsy Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is supposed to be excellent. I don't mind 3D, but prefer the 2D Quote

Nelsta Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Watched Red State aswell yesterday, I enjoyed it, yet at the same time I'm not entierly sure the film knew what it wanted to be. Was a good film though and fair play to Kevin Smith for trying something new. Quote

neekoy Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Finally watched the new POTC, thought it was good actually better then the last one. Also SUBMARINE which I thought was pretty good, massive fan of everything Richard Ayoade does though so no surprise. Quote
RoyRover Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I went to Tinker Taylor Soldier Spie on Monday night and Planet Of The Apes last night and thoroughly enjoyed them both. TTSS is an intense watch and you really have to be tuned in to understand what is going on. I'd say that it's one of those movies that becomes clearer after a few watches, like Heat or The Usual Suspects. Quote
rebelmswar Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Watched "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" tonight. Forgot how fantastic it was. Looking to find "The Stuff" another solid horror comedy. I blame watching Troll 2 for getting me on this idiot horror train. 1 Quote
